I would vote for Trump 100% of the time over any Democrat. That doesn’t mean that I’m gonna worship the guy and assume that everything he does is 19D chest and perfect.

I think that's just a reflex on this site because some people think you're a turbo-commie if you say "maybe Trump should be doing a little more" or "I wish he wouldn't have done (insert thing he promised not to do)"

As far as discussions in the little part of the Internet, voting for Trump is a relevant data point.

We are seeing a separation. You have traditional conservatives, neocons and MAGA, at a minimum on the right.

I think you are seeing people that fervently supported Trump that are traditional conservatives separate from MAGA. You are probably seeing neocons join MAGA.

Whatever else may be true about him, those are definitely D cups.

People say "I voted for Trump" because they sense core MAGA is more about group identity than anything else.

Gee, that sounds a lot like if you agree with Trump in any way, you are a "cult member".

Of course it’s irrelevant, but this is a very pro Trump board given to frequent ad hominem attacks so it’s entirely understandable that someone would want to make it clear that he is not associated with the “enemy.”

Yet somehow, i've been able to do so. Again, if your argument is strong, you don't need to defend yourself against anyone. Your argument should be able to stand on it's merits. If someone calls you "lib" without reading it or comprehending it, why is that your problem?

I'll have to remember that the next time I do it. In two and a half years, it won't matter.

From my experience, 90% of the people who claim to have voted for Trump, or even better - "I'm a 3x Trump voter" - didn't vote for him.

I can say that and it's true. And if you count primaries I've voted for him five times.

Nah, in a sensible discussion not taking place on a message board, a person would say that to indicate they support Trump, and at the same time don't like some things he does.

That is normal discussion and behavior.

Think about the demographics of this board.

And now think about the volume of posts that have been against Trump the last 2-3 weeks.

Do you HONESTLY believe that 90% of those posters did not vote for Trump?

I voted for Trump. I don't agree with everything the man does. BUT, he's a hell of a lot better than any of the alternatives.

I'd do it again.
