Why is the left so brazenly anti-white/male? This should explain it.

That's from r/TD.

Smiling while a “Native American” beats his tom-tom drum in your face is white privilege.

the complete and total extent of their ability to concede anything goes like this: "well at least it started a conversation"

hence there will never be any apology or admission they were ever wrong

Now that more video has become available, it is readily apparent that there is some blame to be shared on all sides of this issue. Honestly, I would place most of it on Mr. Phillips, but that does not mean that the teenage boys were blameless.

The incident seems to of occurred on some sort of an open plaza. The MAGA boys were gathered in one group, apparently engaged in some sort of verbal exchange with another group (which did not include Mr. Phillips).

Mr. Phillips wandered into the MAGA group, tapping out a rhythm on his drum. He did not need to wander into their group, and he should not have done so. The assertion that he did so in order to protect them from the second group seems… spurious … at best.

As Mr. Phillips wandered through their group, most of the boys politely stepped aside and allowed an old man to continue what he was doing. This is what any southern boy, raised with an ounce of manners and decorum, would have done. Good for them.

Then, Mr. Phillips walked in the direction of young Mr. Nick Sandmann. Unlike his classmates, this young man chose not to step aside and allow the old gentleman to continue what he was doing ... choosing instead to stand firm, refuse to move and smirk at the old gentleman. Many will disagree, I have no doubt, but this young man was simply being rude to an elder. There was no reason for it. I have no idea how any of you were raised, but if I had behaved exactly as young Mr. Sandmann did, I have no doubt that my parents would’ve grounded me for months ... Regardless of the race or political party of the older gentleman.

At this point, the “teenage boy herd mentality“ came in the play. Many of the young men had politely moved out of Mr. Phillips way minutes before, but now, they joined in with chanting and (yes you’ll laugh) smirking at the old gentleman. Again, it was unnecessary.

Again, most of the blame here lies with Mr. Phillips for wandering into their group. Again, the teenage boys were not blameless either

You’d be grounded for standing and allowing an adult to get in your face and continually bang on a drum?

Come on propane hank.

Really hank? They were “unnecessarily smirking” at him?

So it’s a damn if you do something and damn if you don’t situation.

You can’t engage the man who walks up to you and bangs a drum in your face and you can’t stand and smile at him either.

Anything but diverting your eyes with a droll look on your face as you meekly step aside is wrong.

Really?

Really propane Hank?

Kid showed restraint. At that age, I would have taken that assholes drum and flung it . Respect to elders is based on a adult or elder acting like an elder.

no, for refusing to politely step aside for an elder. It’s a matter of common decency. This young man did not exercise it.

Again, however, most of the blame lies with Mr. Phillips.

Mike PowerMan, I initially thought hope Prince based upon the early videos) that 100% of the blame for this confrontation probably fell at the feet of the teenagers. I would now put less than 10% on young Mr. Sandmann, With the bulk of the remainder on Mr. Phillips.
