Yes. He had been walking past people all day.

Did he enter their group because of their red gimme hats? Yes, I think probably so. This is why I say he is about 90% responsible.

Progressives (not you necessarily) lecturing about “respect for ones elders” is the apex of irony.

Not to mention that the notion of respecting one’s elders arose in a time when life could be expected to give you hard lessons and hard-won wisdom instead of this era when our “elders” are often shrill pill-addicted idiots who seem to have spent their whole lives learning how to make excuses for themselves.

You're a moron. Your version of events would have had the boys walking in circles in an attempt to "step aside for an elder."

You understand the Progressive mindset very well.

Nice work.

There was no way for that kid to win. That is the scenario they want, so they will just continue to create alternate events in their mind. Screw the video evidence.

He made NO attempt to walk past the smiling kid. Instead he walked up to him and got in his face......literally.

There was plenty of room for him to step by the kid, but he chose to stand there and beat his drum in the kids face. What respect does he deserve?

Less than someone more polite.

He picked that kid for his MAGA hat and his “punchable” face. They planned this whole thing.

He is 100% responsible. Did the kids engage him at all at any other time he was walking around beating his drum. Trump Delusional Syndrome has really set in bad on you. You might need to seek some professional help. When you can't see the facts staring you in the face, you have proceeded off the cliff.

And you are projecting. I have been practicing lae 30 years and I have very seldom (if ever) seen a situation that was 100% the fault of one single party.

It is only your Trump worship that leads you to feel the way you do.

If anybody who has any rational thought process looks a the picture in the link provided, you will be able to see exactly what this man's intentions were. He was going to go up to whoever had a red MAGA hat on and do the same thing.

Agreed. As I SAID, he simply refused to step aside for an elder. Clearly I was raised differently than many of you ... with manners.

Come on man. This is absurdity.

I generally hold adults to higher standards than kids. I'm just weird like that

So predictable. Libs get caught being assholes, and a board lib swoops in to declare “both sides are wrong”.

It’s like clockwork

I opine that Nathan Phillips is 90% responsible for the entire debacle, and you people interpret that to mean that I am taking his side.

I have never seen a better example of the binary thought process of Trump sycophants.

I just thought the whole "move aside for your elder" line was absurd.

Come on. I'm all about respect. I still say sir/maam and I'm 51 years old. I say it to adult 20 year olds.

But even then, you're probably not gonna garner much in the way of my normal manners while yelling racist shite at me.

I got a surprising mea culpa from one of the facebook SJW's I regularly spar with. He ended up deleting his initial post and making a new post calling out the media for pushing a false narrative. It was refreshing.

That "open plaza" is the Lincoln Memorial. You know, where MLK said he had a dream.

No, it's obvious that you really want to blame the kid(s), even if just a little.
