Even if that was true, the calls for this kid to be doxxed or expelled were ridiculous. I don’t think you’d argue that point.

Apparently, smirks are racist now.

I ventured onto Twitter today for the first time in awhile and I’m seeing this “white boy smirk, white boy evil” take.

The people really mean it, but the thing is that if he had responded by being expressionless, by giving angry looks, or anything else short of bowing down to the stranger beating a drum in his face, they would still hate him. Their take would just be modified. “White boy frown, white boy evil” or whatever for the situation.

Remember how they reacted to Kavinaugh’s anger?
It’s all mental illness, and the general material comfort we enjoy is both what gives people the time to fret about this nonsense and what prevents widespread violence based on it.

You are hereby debunked. There is NO doubt, that with your leftist sniveling unhinged mentally ill views, coupled with the hatred of YOUR President and Commander in Chief who is the best one in your miserable little lifetime, that you have no parents.

Twitter was sickening over this. How people can call for the death of this boy is beyond me.

He argues just for the sake of it. He's ruined what little credibility he tries to project.

It really amazes me how some just can't admit that they were COMPLETELY wrong.

Agree 100%

I am still trying to wrap my brain around the concept that “respect for one’s elders” constitutes a liberal-leftist-progressive agenda

You honestly believe that Phillips wanted to walk by those kids?

I think you’re barking up the wrong tree. I could be swayed that discretion is the better part of valor and that it would have been more prudent for the young man to step aside. But morals, respect and manners have nothing to do with that.

I’ve read this is full, unedited video of Covington HS students/Native-American elder interaction. Among those who watched it, some hear “Yanni”, others hear, “Laurel”. Watch & make-up your own mind. I thank Nathan Phillips for his service to our country.

Nope.

quote:

the teenage boys were blameless

They were. Yep.

quote:

Then, Mr. Phillips walked in the direction of young Mr. Nick Sandmann. Unlike his classmates, this young man chose not to step aside and allow the old gentleman to continue what he was doing ... choosing instead to stand firm, refuse to move and smirk at the old gentleman. Many will disagree, I have no doubt, but this young man was simply being rude to an elder. There was no reason for it. I have no idea how any of you were raised, but if I had behaved exactly as young Mr. Sandmann did, I have no doubt that my parents would’ve grounded me for months ... Regardless of the race or political party of the older gentleman.

This is the "blame the victim" mentality the left only applies when conservatives are involved.

quote:

At this point, the “teenage boy herd mentality“ came in the play. Many of the young men had politely moved out of Mr. Phillips way minutes before, but now, they joined in with chanting and (yes you’ll laugh) smirking at the old gentleman. Again, it was unnecessary.

I think it was absolutely necessary, and believe this needs to happen more often.

One theme of the conversations over the past 24 hours = how deeply familiar this look is. It's the look of white patriarchy, of course, but that familiarity — that banality — is part of what prompts the visceral reaction. This isn't spectacular. It's life in America.

Anyone want to guess where she works?

Agreed. As I SAID, he simply refused to step aside for an elder.

Clearly I was raised differently than many of you ... with manners.

You're a moron. Your version of events would have had the boys walking in circles in an attempt to "step aside for an elder."
