Simply too many. That is unacceptable.

How else do you compare students from everywhere if they are not taking the same test?

So, they should be prioritized because of racial heritage, and not intellectual capacity or potential?

Sounds fair enough.

What kind of job do you get with this degree.

The college bubble needs to burst. Hard.

Here would be my responses if I were the President of Prinecton.

1) Duly noted.
2) Tldr.

I'd instruct marketing and communications to pick one of those and put out a press release.

Sounds like a good start.

Higher admissions for lower test scoring minorities didn’t move the needle at all? Hmmm. Well THIS will definitely appease the Ivy League blacks. Glad that’s over...

As if the university hasn’t already bent over backwards to achieve these diversity numbers. it would be interesting to see how that 9% stacks up vs the next 9% of Asians and whites that weren’t accepted. But privilege and all...,

They should go teach at the HBCU's that breed racism. They belong there.

See, they don't give a shite about Asian,Hispanic, or Arabic professors, only about Black ones.

Such a race of snow flakes

Remember, Asians had to file a lawsuit, as a few Ivy League schools would take average Black students over Highly educated and score ranked Asians

Princeton will meet the demands but it won’t be enough. There has to be a perpetual state of “critical.” Constant call for change. It will never end.

When you start a letter with the following phrase:

quote:

Anti-Blackness is foundational to America

There's no possibility of negotiating. Either give in to their demands or see riots, sit-ins, etc. take place.

Every time minorities are mentioned, they are given capital letters. White people, not so much.

Tells you what this is really about.

The ivies do better than most

They're actually contributing to the problem, both in hiring and admissions (particularly admissions).

They've been virtue signalling the longest. The Ivies reach down (a little) for students and faculty "of color" (Dr. King is spinning in his grave, I'm sure). So, the next tier of schools start off Day 1 with a depleted talent pool - both professors and students. So, they have to reach a little more broadly at least. And the next tier and so forth.

So, the end result is you have scads of black students and faculty struggling at every level of post-secondary institution. And, notably at the law schools, medical schools, etc., not just top tier undergrad programs.

This also breeds resentment across the board as non-black/non-hispanic candidates face a competitive disadvantage in admissions and hiring.

If these institutions would admit/hire in a colorblind, purely meritocratic manner, there would be blacks and latinos at every level (and generally successful, because they would be placed at a school and program appropriate to their grades and test scores) - but in smaller numbers than the race hustlers think there should be, so they would get shaken down. They've surrendered to the mob for so long, they don't know another path.

But, Dr. King's vision was sound. It was right. It was fair. It was difficult. It was going to take a long time. And it was discarded before his funeral was over.
