It would be nice if you could discretely find a nurse at the hospital you trust. Give her ivermectin and pay her whatever it takes to give it to him.

Having read no other responses...EVERYBODY in a high risk group should have a pre-planned strategy with their MD that IMMEDIATELY upon testing CV positive the protocols with Ivermectim, Hydroxychloroquine, Steriods, ZPac, et al of their choice...should begin. BS with that "go home and wait" strategy; which for people with problematic risks is a death roll of the dice.
A lot of political hacks are going to wake up in their next life with a bad draw for the lies and unnecessary suffering and deaths they are causing. Sick stuff.

OP I am sorry about your dad.
And has been mentioned. Watching somebody smother to death is not pleasant. It’s not like TV. It can take hours to days. People don’t just drift off. “People are tough sumbitches to kill” stealing from an old ER doc.
Many patients opt for the vent even when they swore not to. When push comes to shove they want to be made comfortable. Nothing wrong with that.

I can't imagine what in your post someone deemed worthy of a downvote. They either didn't like that your dad made it or they don't like the idea of fighting for someone's survival on their behalf. What a sorry state that person is in.

There are many medical “professionals” in this thread that are directly responsible
for killing Covid patients by refusing to administer or even acknowledge safe existing
drugs.
They revel in the misery and they will be judged. Hopefully by man.
