Thomas Massie introduced H.R. 3795, the Gold Reserve Transparency Act of 2025, on June 6, 2025, to mandate a comprehensive audit of U.S. gold reserves.
Well, we're waiting. 1 year ago and all I've really heard from Massie has been Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. Why hasn't he followed through and championed his bill? I'm positive President Trump would sign it if Massie could deliver.

It was referred to committee and has never been advanced. Ask Mike Johnson why. Massie can't force it through committee. Do you know how congress works?

Yeah I know how congress works. You get something on Johnson and blackmail the frick out of him or someone or something he cares about and anyone else in your way. Go all LBJ up in there if it's truly something that is needed. Otherwise it's just something you throw out and grandstand about. Blame Johnson when you don't really care enough to see it through. That's how congress works.

Doesn't really matter.....the system is not based on gold anymore....
They should sell that gold and use it for needed services, like shutting down the dept of education!

Isn’t Fort Knox a part of the US treasury?
Isn’t the Treasury Dept under the control of the executive branch?

Meaningless distraction. Our government's money is based on nothing, has been for a long time. Trump is a big contributor to that. Doesn't matter how much gold is in Fort Knox, we're going to spend the same amount tomorrow regardless.
