The entire point I was making is people always throw out bullshite like you did completely devoid of context. What should be compared (as I did) is what % of national income did each group ear. It sounds egregious when you say "the top 1% pay 40% of all income taxes! They're paying 40X!!!!). No, they're paying 2X, since the earn 20% of the income. You don't have to agree with me that 2:1 is an acceptable level of taxation for the top 1%, but I think it's obvious that it's certainly way less dramatic than the attempt at poorly (I would argue dishonestly) framing it.

I'm in the 1% and I couldn't give a shite. I would never change places with the bottom 50 just because they don't pay big income taxes. Know what else they don't do? Earn big income.

Paid almost $10 bucks yesterday for three chicken breasts for the chicken Parm I made.

Maybe, looking at what they say for Louisiana, a two income household at minimum wage can raise a child out of poverty. You might not be comfortable everywhere at that. But you can survive.

You also don't know how to do math. If one guy pays 40% and another pays 4%...thats 10:1, not 2:1

Also, me and a dude down the road making a million a year receive the exact same value from our paid taxes. Why should he pay anymore?
