Our POTUS Trump lets the cartels know who is the boss. The people under the thumb of these cartels finally can feel a sense of hope. I believe POTUS Trump will remove the cartels and let the people decide what they want for their country.

How can anyone be on the team that protects the cartels and against the team that will protect the citizens?

It Will Be GLORIOUS!!

With our border on lockdown, Mexico was likely using Venezuela as another outlet to get drugs to US. Maybe not a lot but we are taking a narco state out of the picture as a viable option. Because it also can work the other way, drugs from VZ routing thru Mexico. Hopefully this squeezes Mexico.

Watching the reactions of the useful idiots today has been very entertaining, their TDS doesn’t allow them to see anything other than Trump = bad.

Trump could cure cancer and these same people would make signs and protest in public for the rights of tumors to live.

What’s blatantly obvious to me is the pardon of Juan Orlando Hernández has everything to do with Maduro being snatched up today.

Think that pardon has something to do with it? Holy shite people use your fricking brains, look at the timeline, this isn’t hard to figure out, frick

That's possible, but probably not likely. We track every seizure made at the border and have for a long time. Since fentanyl is the focus of the day, and the new WMD on the block, using that as a benchmark comparison seems appropriate. Per the DEA's mid(ish)-year numbers, I guess as official as you can get, it is off the pace it would take to match last year's seizures at the border. That's not a bad thing given that seizures really ramped up going into 2020, increased every year into 2023 (the high water mark), and finally showed a decrease for 2024. That means what we were doing at the border between 2020 and 2024 was working in regards to fentanyl seizures. Hopefully, the downward trend continues. We will see in a couple of months or so when the 2025 NDTA is released.

Removing the leader of a group shipping drugs to our country sounds America First. America First isn't just talk and inaction.

Removing Chinese influence from this hemisphere is also America First.

I'm not sure when America First became conflated with doing nothing.

Stopping cartels who run drugs and kids into our country? That's not America First?

Sounds very America First.
1. We cut down on drug trafficking into America.
2. We gain access to Venezuelan oil driving down energy prices.
3. We keep China out of Venezuela.
4. We improve conditions in Venezuela thus reducing the impetus for their citizens to illegally immigrate to America.

America First!

Removing drugs from our country is rather America First…. Removing a secure base of operations from our enemies in our backyard is rather America First. Removing Cuba as a threat is rather America First.

My next visit to the hair stylist and I am getting the "Milei"!! He is exactly right and I must show support for his statement by mimicking his style.

It actually does. Making the Americas safer sounds America first.

Letting the cartels run central and South America and having millions of illegal immigrants as a result is America last.

So making the countries of all these “assylum seekers” better and worth going home to isn’t putting America first? The communist and cartels took them over, making them poor and desperate. Trying to better their life, thy came to America and flooded our country. That wall gets a lot cheaper if they have no reason to come here. Look at El Salvador as an example.

Ok, but what about Americans first? America first doesn’t mean isolation. It means in the BEST INTEREST OF AMERICANS.. What benefits Americans. War in Afghanistan does not. Punishing foreign organizations that put Americans last does.

I understand the sentiment and understand it is also a dividing line. Respectfully, I’d make the case that government has failed us by allowing the Cartel status quo to prevail. I look at drugs coming across our border like I look at people coming across our border- it’s about having the vision and discipline and execution to stop it. The status quo is failing us.

Look I’ve lost my only sibling to an overdose. I see it a little differently. I want the cartels to not live in a FA world I want them to live in a FO world. And putting them on notice, making them feel the cost in blood and treasure , would be putting Americans first.
