Portland just confirms what I said yesterday about Vermont. These areas that are overwhelmingly Caucasian don't have a clue about what's going on in the real world. Factor in a huge dose of Marxism and white guilt, and I wouldn't live in Portland under any set of circumstances.

Great Notion on Alberta, there’s 2 locations in Portland but the Alberta location is their original spot and has a nice outdoor area. If it’s raining you can go to the NW location which is minutes away from Breakside.
Breakside in NW, they have 2 locations but NW is best.

Downtown….it had potential but sucked when I spent a good chunk of 2007-2009 there for work. Homeless everywhere in the squares/parks downtime and all over the streets.
General area around Portland is very nice, but downtown reflects the failure of local government to manage their city - like all liberal run sanctuary cities.

Portland, Maine is much cooler. Probably about the same level of diversity, and still plenty of dumbass blue haired women running around. But they also had a vocal crowd of MAGA supporters, and they got lobster for every meal.
A whole bunch of homeless in both cities, too.
