The only thing this did was get teenage boys to borrow their parents id for 5 minutes in the middle of the night and set up an account. Not only ineffective but laughably naive.
So now adults have to pay the price for the fact that the Texas legislature passed a bad law. What if a 25 year old incel wants to rub one out to Trixie ad Harry banging away? He's not hurting anyone

This ID thing is weird. I know it's supposed to be 18+ anyway and can't tell you how many times I lied on that shite. Now since I'm well over 30 I have noticed most things (probably all things) 18+ or 21+ are mostly about control instead of safety. Sure it stops lil Johnny from seeing bobs and vagene but now he can steal his mom's ID for a second and return it. Mission accomplished.

IDs? The guy selling them to us was the son of the guy who owned the drug store and was friends with our older brothers and sisters. He could not care less unless his Dad was there. But on Saturday afternoons Dad was not there and "junior" was.

i grew up in the middle of cotton fields in west Texas and ran track and Cross Country. I'd take off down dirt roads for a few miles at a time. one time i hit an intersection of dirt roads and found a box full of rained on nude magazines. 30 of them 6 miles from a paved road. there was no way of getting that home safely.

Any idiot knows that if they are not on Wi-Fi and have cleared their cache and turned off location services they can get on w/o the age verification process. At least with the other most popular site.

Only if one's definition of "working" is limited to just pregnancy/STDs (and even in the latter case, that's not 100% accurate, actually). Abstinence can set a lot of young adults up for later relationship failure, too. But again, depends on one's working definition (literally

Eh, I got lucky, honestly. It's Russian roulette in a lot of ways. I know several peers of mine who abstained, and several who didn't, and their results have been a very mixed bag, with abstinence not being a key indicator of the success or failure of their relationships. My dumbass just happened to hit the jackpot with Aggiebelle lol.
