why do we have seatbelt laws, voter ID (laws,) minimum age for alcohol, smoking, building regulations,

Each of these involve the safety, well being, and/or enjoyment of others in society beyond the individual.

A teenager whacking it to titties in his bathroom does not.

1) download TunnelBear
2) set up acct with burner email
2) put phone on airplane mode, with wifi on
3) watch

2 free gigabytes/month. If you need to whack more than that, get help.

Now teenage boys are going to have to tear a page out of a nudie magazine and stick it to the wall of the shower like a normal person.

In all seriousness, back in the day, a guy could get the job done with a pic out of the SI Swimsuit issue. These days, people are so desensitized by porn, young guys can't even get hard unless it's to some pretty extreme stuff.

Setting the legal aspect aside (for the sake of argument), ratcheting things back might not be such a bad thing.

I mean, they have a point. Only requiring specific sites to comply just drives them to sites that don't. If I required 7/11 to ID minors and let Circle K sell to whoever they want do you think that will curb underage drinking or will all the minors just go to Circle K?

They've got a point, but its also amusing to read sleezy sites defending themselves with these nauseating lectures as if they're innocent Saint Stephen about to be stoned to death

People that make A** Destroyer 10 DVD's who all of a sudden sound like Thurgood Marshall making legal arguments

Good. It's poison.
Is there any questions, whatsoever, that before the proliferation of porn,

1. Homos just wanted to be left alone to frick in peace.

2. Trannies were dancers on Bourbon Street

3. Pedophiles were reviled as the lowest form of humanity.

4. Kids were NOT confused about whether they were male or female.

All porn should be relegated to the .xxx domain where all you have to do as a parent is block that one domain extension. Otherwise, everyone that needs a porn fix can still get it

And that includes services like Reddit, Facebook and X which have plenty of porn on them.

Are you equally angry when your privacy is violated showing an ID to buy alcohol? It’s for the same purpose.

He'd probably be angry if he only had to show his ID to buy beer at Circle K and not Chevron.

Stores don’t ID people who are obviously of age very often.

ETA: but yes, I would be angry if I had to LOG my ID every time I wanted to buy alcohol even though I was obviously of age.

ETA2: the people who like this law are no better than the woke Karens who incessantly tell everyone what to do.

These politicians getting bold as frick lately.

Texas is such an odd place. I can walk around with a rocket launcher but I can't buy liquor on Sundays, sports bet, or apparently fiddle myself to PH.

Hey, why not log in with the state every time you have sex with your wife to make sure it’s legal?

Nothing would have stopped a 12-year-old Goomba from accessing porn online (if we had the internet back then). Hell, nothing stops me now.

I can understand PornHubs issue if all sites aren’t regulated the same.

Sounds like Pornhub needs stronger Lobbyist.
I’ll sign for 350.
Of course access to the Stars as a Bonus.
