I salute my fellow Christians who are Catholics.
You have a Pope who seems more worthy than the last.
And from the Vatican, threw out a prayer for the victims of the Texas floods.

Now Francis also opened the possibility of some sort of blessing on same sex couples
the argument was he can give blessings to anyone straight or queer as INDIVIDUALS as all sinners are welcome to repent
quote:.
The Pope has authorized blessings for same-sex couples, but these blessings are for the individuals themselves, not for their specific union or relationship

Pope Francis was very sloppy with his words which allowed people to twist things he said. Feels like Pope Leo will be much more succinct with the message.

What are his thoughts on Homosexual Child Molesters?

The Pope is Captain Obvious.

I think Pope Leo surprises people.

That has always been the position of the Church. No pope has said otherwise. Even Francis said marriage was only between a man and a woman.

How sad is it that it's breaking news when the Pope agrees with what the Bible clearly teaches.

I don’t give a shite, just don’t throw it in everyone’s faces and leave kids alone.

Now let's get to clergy members that openly preach that homosexuality is completely fine.

You don't. You let that post sit out there and stew in it's own perversion.

The good news is for the most part the younger new crop of priests are pretty based and not gay (not as much as the 60s, 70s, 80s
This has been pretty well
Documented that the younger clergy are much more conservative and traditional than the boomers who they are replacing. There are a few reasons for this, one being that the gay lifestyle is much more acceptable in modern society, so gay men don’t need to use the priesthood as some sort of refuge. They can just live out that lifestyle in the world.
