Poll: The top ten most popular governors in America are all Republicans

Meanwhile, Louisiana's own democrat Governor is at a mediocre 29th at 47% which coincidentally is not enough to win a runoff outright in the first round. And that's not even getting into the fact that approvals don't necessarily equal re-elect numbers in other polls.
And people think he's a lock for reelection?

I'm part of the 23% downvoters on Greg Abbott.
sorry... but my hatred of him and the job he has done while employed by the State of Texas predates his time as the guv'nah.
his office fleeced me forcibly of 5k when I didn't have 5k all based on their really horrid accounting error and my "only recourse" was to produce canceled checks from 11 years prior to show that I had actually paid the first go 'round.

I think you will see Desantis rise up this list soon. People have been surprised to find out that he is not, in fact, a racist! Actually getting a lot of bipartisan stuff done but still taking conservative positions where appropriate.

Henry McMaster has the greatest accent of any governor.

i do not understand the voters of 1,2,3 and 5. Don't they pretty much always go Dem in prez elections?

The odds are solidly in his favor. Us disliking him and being educated on these boards is not the same as the general voting public being in the same camp. People are complacent, which is why it's always difficult to unseat an incumbent.
I hope he loses, but I am not confident that it happens

Maryland Republicans are modest centrists. Hogan is fairly rational and less corrupt than the Democrats that preceded him.

Only 4 Dem govs at 50% or better.

3 of the top 5 are #NeverTrump

There has not been one single poll that shows JBE has the necessary 50.1% to win outright in the first round, he's barely leading head to head against Rispone and Abraham and there's been hefty chunk of undecideds in all the polls. And it's only april.
One republican has more Cash on hand than JBE and the other republican has raised more money than JBE ever did at this point in 2015.
And that's not even getting into the fact that he's not running against a scandal plagued republican, the spotlight will be on him the entire campaign as he will have to defend his record or lack thereof, and if the polls are close for the runoff, he has to survive Trump and Pence coming to town to lay the hammer down on him.
JBE is a lot more vulnerable than you think.

I can’t believe MawMaw Kay is that popular.

Hogan might as well have a D beside his name.

My point is why does a state vote for a rep. governor and a dem pre?. Maryland voted 60-34% for Clinton. I just don't get it.

How in the hell did meemaw get #4? They must have polled before she screwed everyone last month.

Hoping Stitt in Oklahoma will crack that top 10 at some point in his tenure.
We need some good leadership after what Fallin did her second term.
So far so good though.

Already been explained. Northeast republicans are very moderate. They'll vote R in one election and then turn around and vote D if they like the guy enough.

And they are all white males and Martha Washington.

Yeah, sorry. Asa Hutchinson is an arse-sucking liberal republican. John McCain wears Asa pajamas when it comes to being a piece of shite.

I agree there is no way she outranks Abbott in any popularity poll.
