Not sure Gov, Meemaw is still that popular since the gas tax hike.

Hey guys--Sentrius is trying to talk about JBE and ya'll keep changing the subject. How will he know how to interact when you're not following his lead?
Oh, yeah--he'll keep posting about JBE.

Republican governors of Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire and Vermont are 4 of the 5 most popular governors in the country...and all 8 senators from those states are Democrats (if you count Bernie Sanders as a Dem instead of independent).

his office fleeced me forcibly of 5k when I didn't have 5k all based on their really horrid accounting error and my "only recourse" was to produce canceled checks from 11 years prior to show that I had actually paid the first go 'round.
That has zero to do with Greg Abbott.
Do you blame Trump when you get a flat tire? Sack up pussy.

My point is why does a state vote for a rep. governor and a dem pre?. Maryland voted 60-34% for Clinton. I just don't get it.
Because some people vote on the candidate and not just the party.

I'm also not a big Asa guy. He'll say what he needs to get elected, but then he does stuff like this:
quote:
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Dozens of Arkansas immigrants and allies watched Gov. Asa Hutchinson sign two DACA bills into law Wednesday, April 10.
Watching Gov. Hutchinson sign the bills was emotional for many. House Bill 1552 grants nursing licenses to DACA students and House Bill 1684 grants in-state college tuition to those with DACA and other immigrant visas.

And here's how the two most popular governors feel about Trump.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan harshly criticized President Donald Trump over the findings released in special counsel Robert Mueller's report, telling reporters Tuesday that "it certainly did not completely exonerate the President as he said."
"There was some very disturbing stuff found in the report and just because aides did not follow his orders," the Republican governor said Tuesday in New Hampshire. "That's the only reason we don't have obstruction of justice."
The Republican governor, who's publicly been considering a primary challenge to the President since winning re-election in 2018 by a double-digits margin in deep blue Maryland, told reporters that Republican reluctance to criticize the President was "very frustrating."
"I know that there are a number of my colleagues, both governors and senators, members of the House who will say privately they're very concerned, that they won't say anything publicly, and I think it's because, you know, they're afraid," he said. "There's no profiles in courage here. They're afraid of being primaried. They're afraid of being tweeted about and very few of us are willing to say what we really think."

During the final of the three Massachusetts gubernatorial debates, incumbent Republican Gov. Charlie Baker and his Democratic challenger, former state budget chief Jay Gonzalez, were asked to describe President Donald Trump in three words.
Gonzalez went first, and was unsurprisingly unsparing in his choice of words for the inflammatory Republican president.
“Hateful. Racist. Un-American,” he said.
Then it was Baker’s turn. The blue-state governor has at times also been a forceful critic of Trump, especially compared to most other GOP elected officials. Still, Baker’s assessment of his fellow Republican was nonetheless remarkable.
“Only three,” he sighed, looking down at the podium.
“Outrageous. Disgraceful. And a divider,” Baker said of Trump

Baker is the textbook definition of a RINO...

Ditto. And that's ridiculous. It's more like 23% approval!
Everyone I talk to thinks he's a terrible excuse for a governor.
