It does and you’re wrong.

The hell it doesn't. If the guy thought he was being threatened, he had every right to raise his gun.

Someone standing in your yard isn’t considered a threat. It’s not legal to point a gun at someone for being in your yard. Guy was a dumbass.

They could be tried for 1st degree, but certainly for 2nd.
You're trying to hard.
This is a recipe for backward logic:
1. Form opinion
2. Consider the facts

It's certainly voluntary manslaughter at the least. They knew they were at the wrong house. They refused to leave. They wanted to kill someone that night apparently.

Any LEO is going to stop the threat.
Even though they start the threat.

Yeah I know. Did you not read any of the other posts in that exchange?
Yeah. And I’ve read enough of your posts to know you have peculiar fetish for the taste of boot-leather.

Only because they are cops.

AMEN brother! The fools who are belittling the LEOs on boards like this one, don't have a clue about what it's like to be a patrol officer, especially at night!
The “fools” on this board are likely homeowners who have properties they are rightfully allowed to defend with a firearm from announced threats in the middle of the night.
Sorry they don’t like the idea of being murdered by an armed hit squad due to negligence and people like you defending said hit squad.
And it’s pretty easy to have a clue being a police officer can be dangerous. You aren’t some enlightened hero.
It’s also pretty fricking easy to get an address right. Uber eats drivers do it all the time half arse paying attention, much less for something as high stakes as life and death.

“You don’t need guns, the police will protect you!”

Exact thing happened to my coworker in metro ATL about 4 years ago. Cops went to the wrong house at night, guy's dog goes nuts, he walks out in his bathrobe with a pistol and cops shot him dead.

Pointed a gun at cops.
I’ve watched the video. They high beamed his arse so chances are high that at 2:30 in the AM he didn’t see exactly who was there on his property banging on his domicile.. and while they may have identified it got real loud and confusing so there no reasonable expectation that he heard them… they fricked up and killed a man. They should be charged with a felony.. they should’ve already been fired and the family should receive millions.

NKWs are recipe for bad things. But homeowners are at greatest risk.

Is your name stonehog because you’re one of the many worthless pigs out there?
It would make sense why you keep sucking on the cop cock in this thread.

Not sure what the law is in New Mexico, but it is in Louisiana. If you feel you are threatened it is perfectly legal. Someone knocking on your and waving flashlights in your face in the middle of the night would be perceived as a threat by most normally thinking people.

A moment of silence. Here we have another example of the harmful effects of consuming boot polish. Turpentine toxicity levels are through the roof with this one.
Bro, your schtick is pretty overdone. And before you call me a bootlicker, check my previous posts to this thread.
When you drop in to every cop thread and can barely make a post without throwing out the bootlicker line, it literally makes you less persuasive.

Only thing the homeowner did "wrong" was open the door. Even if it was an actual intruder, you want to maintain the tactical advantage of making them enter the fatal funnel first.
Cops were wrong here and it's really not debatable.
