If thats the case they would have shot each other since they were the threat.

If someone watched this video without knowing the outcome, they may have done the exact same thing. It’s extremely easy to know how to respond if you know the outcome before you’re in the situation.

Regardless of who’s on the other side of the door, it’s extremely foolish to come outside with a firearm aimed at anyone without knowing who is there.

Between ride alongs and use of force simulators, you can gain a true respect for the decisions that have to be made split-second.

For the downvoters, I stick to my initial statement: I’m not going to make a judgment call on them until more pans out. Let a full investigation take place. Seems like a level-headed approach

So in other words, you have no respect for the 2nd Amendment and believe the lives of cops matter more than citizens.

Basically, the homeowner made mistakes but the cops made mistakes too. And the cops are the ones who are supposed to be trained. That’s the difference to me.

What legal mistake did the homeowner make? Have a big scary gun on his own property? That's not illegal. You sound like a damn liberal.

No, the cops are the only ones who were in the wrong. They had no business being there and then doubled down on their stupidity.

he should never have opened the door. They had no legal reason to make him and it's a good way to get shot by the police.

That were unlawfully on his property. The man had every right to answer the door armed. The life of a cop is not more valuable than a civilian's you bonafide bitchass bootlicker.

Murder, and this is the sort of thing which sets off rampant rioting and calls in earnest for defunding

Nope. Only black lives matter, remember?

About 24 years ago, we were living in an apartment in Bluff Park in Hoover, AL. I was downstairs holding my newborn daughter waiting for the wife and son to come downstairs to leave to go somewhere. At that moment there was a loud banging on the door so I opened it up and two Hoover cops were standing there demanding that I step back and answer their questions. I'm standing there holding my newborn thinking WTF is going on here and asked WTF is going on here. They replied they had gotten a call for domestic disturbance and needed in to check things out. My wife and son came downstairs and they could clearly see no domestic disturbance was happening and I asked "you sure you're at the right apartment". These two knuckledraggers radio'd in to ask and sure enough not only were they at the wrong apartment they were at the wrong damn building. They left in a hurry. Bitches.

Nope. Pointing a gun at cops trumps trespassing.

Do you think this homeowner pointed his gun knowing they were cops? I mean, do you think this guy went from watching NetFlix with his wife to wanting to murder a cop in a matter of 30 seconds?

If he wasn’t a complete idiot he could have looked out the window first instead of getting himself killed. Tried to be Billy badass with his gun though.

You didn't answer the question. Do you think this guy knew they were cops when he answered the door raising his firearm?

A moment of silence. Here we have another example of the harmful effects of consuming boot polish. Turpentine toxicity levels are through the roof with this one.

Don’t know and that doesn’t matter either.

It doesn’t, and the homeowner did nothing wrong legally. Your argument is that he was justifiably murdered for being a moron. If that was a thing, you would’ve been wiped off the earth after saying gofundme was allowing the people that donated to the Canadian truckers to repurpose the money however they wanted.
