The Russians executed 11,000 Polish officers. Most in the Katyn forest. Tried to blame it on the Nazis.
Overall 22,000 Poles were murdered.

I think it's more that his army isn't that great and the operations in Ukraine require a precision and discipline they cannot maintain, so there will be mistakes in countries like Poland. That's the cost of illegally invading a sovereign country and miscalculating how hard it would be to win.

Ukraine doesn't deserve to be invaded any more than Poland deserves to be invaded. I simply used the same rationale for Poland being invaded that many posters on this board use to justify Ukraine being invaded.
