That’s not what overspeed means in an aircraft. It’s referring to the engine not the speed of the aircraft, which is caused by icing, again hence talking about what the OAT was reading.

i don't speak pilot or plane...can you elaborate? the fl320-370 are altitudes, correct? seem to be common ones for commercial flight. so you mean if there's icing at that altitude, change your altitude asap? or that they should have seen the storm and avoided it ie "shouldn't be there in the first place"

She appears to have been the co-pilot. The pilot's name was John something or other. That's what she called him while on the radio.
