Hegseth potentially is the guy that goes into the Pentagon and fricks shite up that needs to be fricked out.
He is openly hostile to defense companies and Nikki Haley, or at least he pretends to be on tv.
He thinks our troops have been done wrong, used in wars.
He is a military man so he has some bones in this field. He has zero executive experience from what I can tell so that could be a disadvantage.
He will be doing a lot of learning on the job.

That is what I think as well. Who cares anymore. He is well qualified & MAGA. He should have no issues getting the votes if the Republicans control the Senate.

Hopefully he is up to the challenge. China in the news quite a bit … developing aircraft carriers, stealth fighters, nuclear reactor for military use. Spending a lot of money from a slowing economy.

But maybe that is what is needed after the likes of Lloyd Austin who was the dictionary definition of the career political ladder military officer turned MIC mouthpiece turned Defense Secretary. That traditional career guy sucked absolute arse, so maybe unorthodox is needed at this time to correct course.
