They'd be following their directives to dismiss the suit, you mean? Which is what they did?

See, thats exactly what lawfare looks like. Since you never seemed to recognize it before.
Go hard after a political opponent using made up crimes, and when he wins, suddenly hes no longer guilty. "Oops our bad. That guy lied to us. We fired him. Your case has vanished. Sorry, to have bothered you"
Same with GA. They mysteriously found the votes he was looking for in 2020, when almost every other state in the nation was submitting lower vote totals, from that election. Cant send a guy to jail, when what he claimed happened, happened

So it was lawfare and not the seeking of justice.

Hopefully the DOJ and Jack Smith have their turn coming soon.
Denying someone's civil and constitutional rights under the false color of law is a criminal offense.

It’s like they were using law fare to stop him. But failed miserably.
Their primary goal all along was to acquire the Crossfire Hurricane and other Trump/FBI investigation material from MAL under the auspices of the all encompassing legal moniker of "National Security" from MAL.
I wonder if Trump has an electronic copy.

The timing is the solid.
Had they waited until after he was inaugurated, he ran the risk of having to deal with the "Constitutional crisis" media narrative. It's likely exactly why they did it now and not later.
They're still following the DOJ policy.

That is NOT what was done or said today. That's the conflation I posted about earlier.

Not dismissed as of now. No idea why you're bringing it up.

And not a single shred of evidence was provided for this

They are doing him a favor?
Oh my lord.

They are simply doing their damn job.
Granted, that in and of itself breaks precedent for this DOJ.

Really? What happened to THE CASE that changed from yesterday to today, other than the election results? If he was so 'guilty' that these cases needed to be brought up after 4 years, then an election result shouldnt make them just 'poof' away
And Fulton DA might be dumb enough to charge forward. But when she has to admit that it is not proven that there were more Trump voters out there, and mysteriously less DIM voters that disappeared, then his phone call wasnt interference at all. Part of an official act

So, they’re admitting the cases were purely political.

She doesn't have the constitutional issues.

The RICO case is above a LOT more than that call

To fill you in, Jack Smith was appointed 2 days after Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president.
He was appointed to look at Trump for keeping presidential documents. The same thing that Biden was exonerated and also for his involvement in Jan 6 which Smith never even touched because it was bullshite.

Anyone betting that all of Smith's records and cell phones will be deleted and destroyed "by accident"?
