As the wealth divide expands, we’re going to see the drum beat louder from all corners to expand socialism
Capitalism ain’t perfect but it’s the best structure we have but As it stands, there’s a growing belief that capitalism only benefits a narrow group.
It’s going to be more important to educate people on the benefits of capitalism and give hope to the younger generation.
We also need to see greater evidence of the philanthropic side of capitalism to outweigh the belief that it’s some sort of greed fest.

It doesn’t help to have our own government announce that it has reached deals with 7 tech companies to provide federal funds in exchange for minority ownership in addition to the stakes it already has in Intel and US steel plus the deal it has with Nvidia.
This is socialism. This is under Trump.

I finally figured out how to not spend a lot of time waiting at the DMV.
Show up about 30- 45 minutes before they close.
Amazing how fast they work so they don't have to be there past 5PM.
Worked like a charm until they closed my nearest office a few years ago.

That's a shite point. For more than one reason:
1. Capitalism continues to produce an ever improving quality of life with more luxuries and comforts available to more people than were possible even ten years ago. Countries that used to be communist/socialist have figured this out and have joined the capitalist bandwagon (China) at least to some degree to similarly benefit.
No one...NO ONE is rejecting capitalism because it's not delivering anymore. They are rejecting it because they have bought into a narrative that says it is not delivering any more. And that narrative is being spewed by people like your podcaster. Populist idiots who have to sow constant discontent to keep the populist train moving.
2. No socialist movement in history started at the grassroots level (look it up). It always starts at the ivory tower academic level and then they convince people and recruit useful idiots among the blue collar class to take the blows to the skull. This isn't coming from the working class.

The definition of socialism is “Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.”
I provided a specific example of a government run entity and its ineffectiveness.
