And now they purposely staffed the offices with 2 people.

That's what I'm saying is messed up. It was problem back on Tuesday. It's clear they've chosen to pe purposely understaffed to counter act the ruling. Messed up.

I hope anyone who still didn't get through makes it there on Tuesday.

lol you guys can’t be serious with these threads.

What, exactly, do you find funny about this situation?

That republican voters are having undue hardships to vote?
That it's being pointed out?
Or that it's happening at all?

Here in Florida I went tbt three times. Each time would have been a two hour wait at least. There are just a lot of people voting. I am in a red county. It’s just the way it is. I finally went first thing in the am and got through in 20.

The court order should have demanded the firing of any poll worker who told people to leave and ineligible for rehire in subsequent elections.

Then demanded that all employees of the office of the Secretary of State fill the vacancies through Election Day with no additional pay. Failure to do so would result in a warrant.

Another one. F them for next Tuesday not being an ideal time to vote when they should have been able to do it this week.

What is wrong with you?

They'll probably understaff on Tuesday, too.

Don’t let them win. Either stay in line as long as it takes or call in sick Tuesday and go vote.

Patriots have spilled blood for this country starting with the Founding Fathers. Many of them lost everything. If you care about this republic then you can wait in line or miss a day of work. This is no normal election, it’s important that we win. Sacrifice if you must but make sure they do not win using their dirty tactics. Theyre counting on you to just give up. Don’t. Show you have more willpower than they do

Good idea but it is actually illegal to force someone to vote without pay. Something to do with slavery or something like that I think.

I certainly hope they can, and the same staffing issue is resolved.

Doesn't change the fact this was garbage, and they should have been able to vote this week.

A friend voted in Joplin, Mo. from 2007 to 2012 and the 1st 5 years it took 15 minutes or less. He would show them ID and they would go down the voter roll check off his name and give him a ballot. The last time he went it was 2 hour wait, because everyone had to check in on a tablet.

Step 1. He had to answer general questions on the tablet
Step 2. Give them back the tablet to make sure he was on the voter roll
Step 3. Gave him back the tablet to sign.
Step 4. They made everything was done correctly and gave him a ballot
Step 5. Vote

He said it took as long to check in as it did to vote
