Pastor to His People: "I Love You Too Much to Lie About Karmelo Anthony”

quote:

I was accused of not loving my people because I refuse to blindly stand with Karmelo Anthony. That’s a lie from the pit of hell.
I love being Black. I love my people deeply #LoveMyPeople. That’s exactly why, as a pastor, I’m not afraid to tell the truth: Wrong is wrong #PastorSpeaks.

Blind tribalism that excuses evil, ignores facts, and attacks anyone who dares question it is not justice — it’s demonic, and it is NOT of God #TruthOverTribe #GodsWay.

Real love corrects. Real love seeks truth #FaithOverFear. Real love doesn’t sacrifice righteousness on the altar of race. My loyalty is to God first, then to my community — which means calling us higher, not covering sin #BlackAndChristian.

If that makes me the villain in some eyes, so be it. I’d rather stand with truth than bow to a lie #CallItWhatItIs #StandWithTruth.

Cornball Uncle Tom Brother.

He will certainly be shunned and punished by the American Left.

This won’t go over well with blacks as a group. They are addicted to pander and will react to the truth like a crackhead having their pipe taken.

We need much more of this. Truth will set you free. Lies enslave people. There have been no shortage of lies at the altar of racial divide.

I wonder what the response would have been if Austin would have killed Karmelo under the same circumstances. Would the left still be claiming self defense?

Good for him. More pastors need to speak the truth rather than giving in to the fear of man.

Black fragility.

He’s still too caught up in his own skin color.
It’s ridiculous.

A Child of God. And a brave and bold warrior at that. Got my praise. Prayers for his work. He’ll need it as the Left brings the heat.

Many on this board are naive if you believe racial minorities are ok with those breaking the law and side with them because of the color of their skin. The 10% that cause 98% of the trouble are hated by their communities just as much as by the collective. Unfortunately, these scumbags receive the media's attention...not surprising since bad news stories sell and attract viewership, the main driver of profit. The media will search for that person that supports their narrative and ignore those that don't. Ever wonder why you see some of the most ignorant, stupid individuals speaking on camera regarding controversial subjects...fits, the narrative. Don't be duped; most people want Anthony to receive a fair trial and are ok seeing him punished if found guilty...Btw, most didn't support the OJ verdict either.

I think you are correct and that there is an effort by entertainment media to portray blacks in such a way.
I go to the gym at lunch and the TVs play a court TV type program that covers real crime. I’ll watch between sets sometimes and it’s wild how every subject they highlight is black. And this is on A&E I think, not some right leaning programming. Why do this if you care about racism, ect?
Ultimately there is a divide and conquer effort being undertaken by globalists/communists/socialists and it needs blacks to remain on the bottom rung of society.

Black church people are some of the biggest enigmas in the world. They love to praise Jesus and talk the Bible, all while supporting things the Bible says are wrong.

At least this guy has some integrity.

It’s the same as white people saying, “I’m not racist, but…” before anything.

Dude has to keep SOME brothas and sistas happy

I've come to believe its bred into their genes. Hard to explain it otherwise.
No matter the walk of life, the upbringing,, even a righteous man like this one, it always comes back to being black first. No amount of generational trauma is responsible for that.
