why in the world are they displaying this stuff in national parks?

In this instance, national parks covers all entities that fall under the National Park Service, including National Battlefield Parks and National Historic Parks

I could see these photos and such in the visitors' centers at Vicksburg, Gettysburg, Shiloh, etc.

Trump ordered it taken down.

The Department of Interior told The Hill on Tuesday it did not direct the National Park Service (NPS) to remove a famed photo showing an enslaved man’s scars from exhibits.

“I can confirm that NPS sites were not asked to remove the photo. If any interpretive materials are found to have been removed or altered prematurely or in error, the Department will review the circumstances and take corrective action as appropriate,” Department spokesperson Elizabeth Peace told The Hill.

Surely these memorials mention that it was Democrats who wanted to preserve slavery by seceding from the Union because a “Black” Republican was elected in 1860.

Preach. Should have let slavery stay a black on black crime in Africa where it originated before we allowed that shite to come here.

But then again, what would life be like without peanut butter?

Nazis = National Socialists

Remember, Communists won WW2. Thus, history was written by them. Over time, nazis became right wing.

No. I wrote a lot of papers on this in college. You should read The Coming of the Third Reich by Richard Evans. It's the best overall work on the Nazi Party.

"Perhaps to emphasize this anti-capitalist focus, and to align itself with similar groups in Austria and Czechoslovakia, the party changed its name in February 1920 to the National Socialist German Workers’ Party; hostile commentators soon abbreviated this to the word ‘Nazi’, just as the enemies of the Social Democrats had abbreviated the name of that party earlier on to ‘Sozi’. Despite the change of name, however, it would be wrong to see Nazism as a form of, or an outgrowth from, socialism. ”

Any early use of the word "socialism" was a ruse. "“The Nazi Party, now equipped with its elaborate structure of specialist subdivisions, saw this, and began to direct its appeal to the professional and propertied middle classes. All of this was anathema to those Nazis who, like Otto Strasser, brother of the Party organizer Gregor, continued to emphasize the ‘socialist’ aspect of National Socialism and felt that Hitler was betraying their ideals.

Otto was eventually murdered, and other objectors left. "The dissidents’ departure revealed that Strasser and his ideas had little support within the Party; even his brother Gregor disowned him. Otto Strasser vanished from serious politics, to spend the rest of his life in Germany, and, later, in exile, dreaming up small, sectarian organizations to propagate his views to tiny audiences of the like-minded.
Having shed the last vestiges of ‘socialism’, Hitler now moved to build more bridges to the conservative right. ”

I'm sure there are all kinds of metrics showing us how vastly the average black persons lot in America has improved since the Confederate statues were torn down, right? Right? I mean, it simply couldn't just be another narcissistic, virtue signaling crusade for liberal white women that has absolutely nothing to do with improving black people's lives, could it?

And still way to the left of JFK Democrats of the 60's.

There is a right wing of authoritarianism....but it still left of 20th Century Democrats.

Consider Stalin, Lenin, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini and Pol Pot for just a few of the tyrants of the 20th Century. Who was further Right?

Mussolini was an ardent communist in the WW1 era even meeting with Lenin in Switzerland. He saw that true communism was doomed to fail and that instead of government ownership of industry, the government needed to align with industry.

Eerily similar to the D's advising US Tech companies to censor and cancel conservatives and do the same for anyone speaking out about Covid.

I mean, it is pretty clear if you take the blinders off.

That piece of history has been conveniently left out of history, as if it never existed, wonder why?

Haven't you heard about the "groundbreaking" pseudo-science which claims that trauma can be passed down through the generations? That's part of the current foundation for the "reparations" argument.
