The Dems chose poorly.

Point was that Dumb and Dumber went out last night saying “Open the government and we’ll negotiate.”
Then they walk in today and say “Not happening even if you reopen the government.”
It was kabuki theater to show that the Dems won’t negotiate in good faith before doing an end-around to build the wall.

I’m not sure. MSM and Dems have already been talking about Fed employee sob stories - even though they haven’t missed a check yet. Talk about a manufactured crisis. Once we get in to next week and there is real hardship, I fear those stories will affect the moderates and soft right.
I was furloughed in 2013 for 17 days. Thanks Obama! My credit union notified its customers it would deposit money into our accounts so we wouldn’t be in financial hardship. Then when we got back paid we would just repay that interest-free loan.
No one is going hungry. If people aren’t paying their creditors it’s because they’re choosing not to. Get off this crap already and enjoy your fricking paid vacation on the tax payer.
