This is all getting really old. People are getting their tax refunds and the airports security funded. (Go read Chad Pergram on twitter) So there is no real govt shutdown but the democrats are acting like they have something to hold over Trump.

I’m not sure. MSM and Dems have already been talking about Fed employee sob stories - even though they haven’t missed a check yet. Talk about a manufactured crisis.
Once we get in to next week and there is real hardship, I fear those stories will affect the moderates and soft right.
Hope I’m wrong.
I think Trump avoids it by issuing the emergency if we don’t have a deal by Friday.
Win win. As long as it withstands the legal challenges.

DACA with 2x the Dems' number for inclusion (4 mil instead of the Dems' 2M) was on the table, last year and Schumer told DJT to get fricked.
