Yes an no. Ossoff is going against a US Congressman who can be a legit contender by that fact alone. If he has the money, he keeps his foot on the gas forcing Collins to spend and raise money as well. If he already has an overwhelming amount he can spend it on key media buys and voter outreach just like Collins would / will, but he can buy up for the key periods pror to the election. I would look to see his media buys and where and when they are.

Appears he is pulling a "Clinton" and getting Hollywood involved to help create the "Star" effect that they are known for. This cisgendered person can't win on ideas, the big steal is being countered with surveillance, so they hope the public swoons for the "Star".

Ossoff knows the Republicans have said they will pledge upwards of 45 million for this race alone,so he is building up his war chest in anticipation. He's running in a state that Trump carried so he has to be on his game because the assault is coming. The question will be is Mike Collins a good enough candidate to use the money effectively and whether he can effectively fundraise on his own in amounts that help.

Georgia is at a point now where anyone who wants to win a state wide election needs to appeal to white women. These are the non-political swing voters needed. Kemp was popular with them because his image was being a rock solid family man with all daughters, a trad dad, a trustworthy mature provider and guardian, a responsible father and husband. That's about as deep as this voting block looks into a candidate.
That's why Ossoff is getting all the money and makeup. He can't go for the fatherly image, but he can go for the "I'd let him take my daughter out" image.
Sadly, I think it's going to work.

Paxton knows people can not vote for quite some time. Talaricco, like most failed or rotten politicians, consistently stay on the air for recognition.
I have seen a few politicians who will leave their signs or billboards up for years after a race, solely for the purpose of name recognition to help them in their next adventure.
