I’ve never seen the government look so inept as being unable to do what my neighborhood can do with a crew of teenage lifeguards (keep our pool clean).

Exactly.
My hope is that in the ridiculousness of their protests that moderate republicans start to understand we’re in a soft civil war.
The people they claim to want to compromise with are in favor of algae if the alternative is their political opponents getting even a modicum of positive praise. That’s not a reasonable or sustainable range of political discourse.
We will never, ever be able to compromise with people that indoctrinated and that instinctively opposed to everything we would be in favor of.

Do you guys know the history on this woman, she is a house rep from Michigan.
Her father in law served for 22 years. Her husband took the seat for 59 years, and she took the seat after he died and has been there 10 years.
91 years and the total demise of a state, great legacy.
