Trump Is literally feeding the "I failed last time, but I'll get them next time!" line to voters that the GOPE has been feeding voters for decades.

quote:

You’re TDS is the only reason you believe its unique to trump.
I don't hate Trump. But that's what it always comes down to, doesn't it? You only care how loyal I am to the man. Not the agenda.

Trump failed on immigration. Yea, it was better when he was in office, but where are we now? He got NOTHING done legislatively on immigration. Trump failed on hurting the deep state. He appointed Bill Barr, Chris Wrey, Mark Miley, John Bolton, Elaine Chao, etc. Trump backed Kevin McCarthy, Rona McDaniel and has been campaigning with Lindsay Graham. Trump failed on the 2A, and has said he'd use it as a negotiation carrot. Trump is against spending cuts and entitlement reform. He's praised Andrew Cuomo, Gavin Newsome, Charlie Crest, and Stacey Abrams. Shall I go on?

... oh, and he's spent the last 3 years doing nothing to focus on securing elections. PA just bundled up a democrat victory in the general last week... not a peep from Trump.

The only TDS are people that claim to be "conservatives" and still back Trump. All the evidence points otherwise.

I'm sorry,, but if you can't see any difference between Desantis and Biden... you need professional help.

Trump has been talking no changes to entitlements. And you seem to forget Trump wanted an infrastructure bill as big as the one Biden got passed.

You really are retarded, moneyg. It's not surprising you're so easily duped.

You are counting in voters you don’t have and you’ve never had.

I'm not counting on any voters. This is what I mean about you being weird AF. I'm not running for office and am not running someone else's campaign. All I'm doing is deciding who is best for the country as POTUS, and supporting him.

quote:

You have. And you alluded to it in this very thread. It’s a manufactured explanation for something that makes no sense.

What was it? Paste or paraphrase, I don't care - but what is the "excuse" I manufactured for why he's still in the race?

We are in an existential fight with Democrats.

So vote Left? Yeah, that makes sense.

And people like you think it’s reasonable to have this civil war right now…in an election that isn’t even remotely close and is trending away from your candidate.

If by "civil war" you mean a Republican primary, yeah - I think it's a good idea for us to have a Republican primary.

Yes. I saw the GOPe just make permanent the COVID stimulus spending and as we speak it’s trying to pass a CR in an attempt to buy time to pass an Omnibus. That’s happening right now.

So we just saw Trump's pick for Speaker lead establishment Republicans in making permanent some Trump-led Covid stimulus spending, and you are arguing the way we fight back is to elect Trump.

When I say “you” I’m referring to all Desantis supporters who believe he can win the general. You get easily confused.

Are you denying this? FFS are you so dishonest that you are going to pretend you haven’t done this?

No, vote for the candidate who will fight that group.

The primary is over. The Republican candidates not named Trump are using the primary process to attempt to injure the leader in the general. It’s humorous to pretend not to realize what Christie and Pence are doing. But, I guess you have to pretend that so you can make the same case for Desantis.

Dishonesty like this doesn’t work because we all saw how the speakership went down. We saw an unprecedented challenge to McCarthy. Unfortunately, there were too many people like yourself to prevent McCarthy.

You keep telling me that, but then you go onto post stupid shite.

I can get confused when reading your posts because you express yourself like a 15 yo.

lol - there's nothing honest or dishonest here. I don't know what you're referring to. Why don't you tell me what you're referring to?

quote:

No, vote for the candidate who will fight that group.

And you think the more liberal candidate will fight the liberals best.

This is the view of a Trump sycophant.

I don't give a shite about Christie and Pence. I haven't posted about Christie and Pence. I couldn't tell you a f'n thing either one of them have said or done on the campaign trail, because I don't give a frick about either one of them.

quote:

But, I guess you have to pretend that so you can make the same case for Desantis.

The only case I've made is that it's retarded to believe that there are no reasons other than "hurt the front-runner" that a candidate would stay in a primary after his chances of winning drop to minimal.

You typed "dishonesty" in a post you suggest I wanted McCarthy for speaker. And you wonder why I ask you to make clear shite you suggest I've posted, because I guarantee you can't find a post of mine where I support that pussy for SOH.

But your boy sure threw his support to McCarthy and celebrated his elevation to the speakership.

You are the only establishment stooge in this exchange.

Thats a lot of words when you only needed a few.
“Politicians suck”

You’re preferred candidate, whoever that is - isnt any fricking better. Its delusion to think otherwise.

I never said anything pro-trump. Im just not stupid enough to think any of them are any better than the next. So hating any of them is kind of pointless, because “your” guy will have just as much for people to bitch about if they serve a term.

Why is it amazing that I long ago made the only judgment I need to make about Christie and Pence? More moneyg weirdness.

That's your guess, but for it to be true DeSantis would have to prefer Biden over Trump. Most rational people would have difficulty jumping to that conclusion.

Would it be unreasonable to choose one’s candidate to support based on whichever one triggers the most possible politicians the most? Because I kinda see that person as being the single most individual who is the biggest threat to the “old timey” self-serving way of doing things that’s been decades upon decades upon decades in the making. That would be a good thing, I would think. If indeed it is, then Trump has that wrapped up in record breaking fashion, a “record” that would likely never be touched for the remainder of time. Conversely, a candidate who doesn’t seem to raise the ire of other candidates and politicians……that’s the guy to avoid.

You are so dishonest that you are saying you can’t offer an opinion on what Christie’s objectives are in this race.

Either you are the only person unable to see it. Or, you are being very dishonest. Which begs the question, why?

Another way to do it is to consider the views/ideas of each candidate, and sort of rank them in a way consistent with your own. Then consider things like leadership, which when you think about it - could be a real difference maker. And based on all of that, choose the guy that best fits the bill.

I think it's a mistake to pick a president based on mean tweets, regardless of whether you love them, hate them, or don't care one way or the other about them.
