Lmao my company doesn't even really give a shite about our BUSINESS opinions.
The CEO and board implemebt policy and we carry it out, now we may tell them its stupid but you know, they sign the checks

What's wrong with that.
Their momma's told them they were the smartest, most important people ever

Yeah. . .I'm kind of blown away by how considerate and generous this company is being.
When they replace the chaff, they are going to be really strong.
Good luck to them

bingo.
there is usually one or two that love drama, and usually those people don't last long in my experience

Yeah. . .I'm kind of blown away by how considerate and generous this company is being.
For decades it's been one of--if not the, most coveted jobs to get in tech.

Sounds like they got rid of the weak links of the chain to me.

Makes you wonder what values our young people have been taught. Pretty novel idea...,when at work your supposed to concentrate on your job, not the social justice topic of the day.

We are so fricked now that every liberal bitch wants their feelings to matter.

If I've observed anything in the last year or so, it's a lot more than 'one or two' who love drama. There's a large swath of the population who wallows in catastrophe syndrome.

This is what happens to an entire generation who grows up on Facebook and Twitter. Gross.

The owners also gave anyone that wanted to quit a six month severance.
Why would any company give severance to people who quit? Seems counterintuitive.

Yeah, sounds like they weren’t there to work, but to undercut management with their agenda
This is the union mentality, too. Their purpose is to steer a company’s public policies as much, or more, as it is to secure “fair wages” for employees.

I'm constantly impressed by the fact that it is so easy to Indoctrinate human beings and to do so by turning them into Firebrand Ideologues who can think of nothing else but what they've been programmed to think about!
It's incredible. I do believe that, given the correct application of Indoctrination, we could convince a large group of people to believe that their waking life is a mere simulation designed to distract their minds, while their DREAMS are actually their real life!

My company (retailer) is incredible.
They said on a call the other day

Think about a year ago...we never talked about race at work, let alone racism. Now we talk about it every day.
They were so proud of our progress.

Translation- the CEOs opinion on not talking about woke issues during business hours "doesn't matter"...

I bet people with business sense and brains will be beating down the doors to work for a company like this. I hope they don't walk this back.... Social issues should have nothing to do with business.

I'm sure there are plenty willing to take their place.
Here's an example: I applied for a job at Twitter while I was still looking for jobs post-military.
They wouldn't accept my application unless I answered what my sexual orientation was. I clicked "I prefer not to answer and it wouldn't allow me to submit".
