If it weren’t for the occasional “bad week” by DJT, Democrats would never have a good week.

They sure as hell don’t accomplish anything productive on their own accord.

You can’t buy prescription medicine on the free market, legally, as is. Stop being dumb.

And in your original post didn’t advocated for change. Keeping your socialized medicine.

You mean the government has been intervening for awhile now?

I advocate for a constitutional republic and getting rid of 95% of all government departments. You advocate for more government intervention, because you are a leftist.

Rightwing populist socialism is still just plain ole socialism at the end of the day.

Trump boys can cry and act like Trump is right on the issue....they are supporting socialism.

This is where MAGA is at.....leftwing socialism bad...rightwing socialism good.

And you are agreeing with a self confessed LIBERAL, Roger.

quote:

On "The Daily Show" Monday night, the liberal comic told self-described democratic socialist Bernie Sanders that Trump is carrying out the Vermont senator's "revolution."

"You could almost make a case that the true inheritor of the Sanders revolution is Trump," Stewart said.

"He is the most socialist president of my lifetime."

"Taking a percentage of companies to do business? That's a Bernie Sanders idea. Doing TrumpRx where the government is involved in selling pharmaceuticals? That's a Bernie Sanders idea."

Then Stewart doubled down.

"Is it frustrating that the thing that you fought for your whole career, Democrats are the ones who run away from scared and Trump has embraced some of it?" he asked.

While normally I’d agree with you, in this case he’s dealing with the Pharma industry. This is one of the most governmentally well backed industries, so he’s essentially limiting government here.

Price fixing, monopolies and price gouging are generally considered nefarious business practices and Conservatives have ALWAYS argued against them. And that’s exactly what some pharmaceuticals have done with some medications.

I don't give a frick who agrees or disagrees. These things have definitions.

They do.

Yours happens to be wrong. Again You can not rectify your position without saying that the USA has always been a socialist nation.

If you are wanting to get government involved over the free market, then you are asking for socialism.

Our Gov has always been involved to a certain extent. The difference is we have separation of powers with checks and balances.

So we go back to you believing we have always been a socialist nation.

And you can frick right off with all the other leftist as far as I'm concerned.

LOL.. Rectify your beliefs with our history. You can't and it's why you WILL avoid answering it.

The fact you think people who want less government intervention are socialists goes to highlight your complete ignorance on civics in general.

Conservatives are not ZERO Gov. That's anarchist. Conservatives believe in a limited gov. Limited does NOT equal ZERO Gov.

Things like medicare and medicaid were created in the 1960s.

We have a constitution that defines the limits. Your version of that has no limits.

And? That has jack shite to do with my comment. Our Gov started the first National Bank in 1791 and then BAILED IT OUT!

So we were socialist then?

Whiskey Rebellion (1794): A federal excise tax on whiskey angered frontier farmers and distillers, leading to violent protests. President Washington's forceful response (marching troops) showed the new government's power to enforce its laws, even against economic interests

Socialist then too rght.

how many more examples do you need.

So again, rectify your position with our history. You can not and will not because it exposes you.

But that doesn't mean this is the solution. More government for a government created problem is dumb.

This is the correct answer.

Ehh. How about we just pay the same prices as other countries? I’m tired of subsidizing the whole world.

You do realize that what big pharma and insurance industrial complexes are the results of end-stage socialist policies, right?

They've been far too protected and emboldened by political policy and government. At some point, a forced reset had to be executed.

None of those things happened except for the defacing of the Kennedy Center.
