The economy sucks, prices are high, and Iran is a giant clusterfrick. Trump and the Republican Congress totally blew it the last two years by doing exactly what Biden did - pretending inflation doesn’t exist or gaslighting people and hoping the issue goes away.

Trump has been president for literally 20 months. He’s done more for our economy than anyone ever has.
Remember Reagan? We didn’t come out of high inflation until 1984. He took office in January 1981.

The inflation started with Trump in 2020. He spent so much in 2020 that it accounts for 1/3 of the debt we've increased since 2017.
Biden took it to another level, no doubt. Certainly not trying to excuse his bullshite.
But acting like Trump isn't responsible for this, or that he has had a change in economic policy is false.
Prices are not going to go down, they are going to keep rising. Our debt will be 80 trillion by 2035.

I'd rather that not happen but I'm not all that concerned. If people in this country are stupid enough to vote Dems back in after the last few years, they deserve everything they get... and maybe it will bring us closer to a national divorce or to the inevitable that we are kidding ourselves we might otherwise be able to avoid. I've been ready... Just hanging back and waiting on the green light where I don't have to worry about going to prison for defending myself and my country.

If Arkansas votes blue then the rest of the country is in trouble IMO.
The Bush Congress gained R seats in 2002 and the Clinton Congress gained D seats in 1998.
Other than that you have to go back to WWII to find examples of the party in the WH not losing seats during the mid-term elections.
It's just what almost always happens.
