It's a midterm. Here is the dynamic. Trump's supporters love him but hate most Republicans. Trump isnt on the ballot. A good chunk of Trump supporters are a bit disillusioned by Iran anyway. Very low motivation. Democrats fueled by sick hatred of Trump. This is a much more motivated bunch. They will show up. In a pretty evenly divided country this spells major trouble for Republicans. Republicans will lose House. Senate will be close.

This essentially summarizes what I am feeling too.

The economy is no better since Trump took office and now we’re in a war for no reason. Republicans will take a beating in the independent voter section. And a large portion of conservatives are sick of broken promises and will just stay home.

That’s concerning for sure and there’s not much time to make up ground.

Then independents and moderates will get exactly what they deserve: open borders, increased funding for DEI bs, and green energy investments. None of those will lead to lower fuel or grocery costs but will increase them exponentially. Texas will get what it deserves with Talerico as well. It will be very entertaining watching watching suburban voters defending open borders and Biden level inflation

Have the Republicans really done anything?
Passed the BBB, Housing Supply Find Act, The Laken Riley Act, the Take it Down Act, several laws that rolled back Biden era regulations.

I am an independent, but nowhere near a moderate. I am staunchly conservative.

You post in an echo chamber, and can spout this nonsense. The reality is that MAGA will be getting what they deserve, too.

I voted for fiscal conservatism, reigning in government spending, lowering the national debt, the expulsion of millions of immigrants, and no new wars. I got non of that.

Instead, I got increased government spending, an explosion of the debt, another encounter in the Middle East, and a daily war with anyone who asked questions. Perhaps running off anyone who questions Dear Leader was not such a good idea.

Sure, sure so he hasn’t deported nearly 1.5 million immigrants? The fewest border encounters in years. How many budget cuts that were found in DOGE were codified by Republicans? Zero. The rest of your post is emotional nonsense that no grown man would say lol hopefully you will get culturally enriched by your new immigrant neighbors since Trump didn’t deport enough. Adding 15 million more under the Left is a great trade for not deporting enough, retard logic

I'd rather that not happen but I'm not all that concerned. If people in this country are stupid enough to vote Dems back in after the last few years, they deserve everything they get... and maybe it will bring us closer to a national divorce or to the inevitable that we are kidding ourselves we might otherwise be able to avoid. I've been ready... Just hanging back and waiting on the green light where I don't have to worry about going to prison for defending myself and my country.

Republicans have been in power for 14 of the last 26 years.

They are the biggest reason democrats get elected and vice versa.

Maybe if Trump kept his campaign promises things would be different?

It's just another omnibus bill.

They had a few nice things defunded in it, but overall, it was a huge increase in spending.

It was claimed that a bunch of other bills were going to follow it that would tackle the real issues. They never came or got mentioned after.

There is a reason you don’t see GOP candidates running on the BBB

I’m legitimately concerned at the amount of support Hallie Shoffner is getting over Tom Cotton on social media here in Arkansas

Sorta like the save act? We all know why there is not any bills coming through Congress. It is to stall the maga movement and keep the deep state machine greased and oiled.
