This is why you ignore and keep walking past the homeless guy who calls you a “f$&:ing B!tch”
That's fine if the homeless guy is a harmless drunk. But what if he's arming himself to the teeth with assistance from a much bigger and richer bully, recruiting and supplying violent gangs to invade surrounding neighborhoods, threatening to kill you and amassing materials toward that goal, and threatening to block traffic through Main street if you do anything about it?
If you and your local authorities ignore troublemakers for long enough, watch them grow and spread with every passing year, eventually you'll wind up with a real threat that can't be easily fixed.

I think the US and Israel need to get back to killing the IRGC command structure while maintaining the blockade.
Blowing up electrical or industrial will hurt citizens more in the long run.
Put pressure directly where it needs to be. Do or die.

Another deadline has passed and no reply from the Iranians on the framework proposal. For the love of God, lets just get this over now.
The IRGC are wiping their asses with "The Art of The Deal". They do not respect Trump or his deal making. These people have everything to lose and nothing to gain by agreeing to the concessions that the U.S. are asking for.

Hit the electrical substations and high voltage transmission towers and leave the electrical plants intact. That way power can be restored quickly after IRGC removed. By the way. you need helicopters to string the high voltage lines between the towers.
Just take out the high voltage transmission lines that leave the power plants. A few A10's can bbrrrrrrrrrrrttttttt anyone attempting to repair. When regime falls allow the repair.
No need to destroy plants or substations, those could take months to years to replace.

Plus drop leaflets letting people know whoever attempts repair will be in mortal danger

I think Trump will continue to do what he wants to do, which is work on a deal.
Trump is scheduled to be in China late next week. I doubt he'll give up on negotiations before that visit is over.

Agree.
But Israel has directed that destroying Iran's infrastructure is a must have for restarting attacks.
Will Trump bow to Israel's wishes?

Trump is trying his best to wait out the 60 days but I don't know if that's possible. By doing so he comes across as weak.

We'll see. Trump says a lot of things, but I don't believe he's a gullible person, especially considering he's working with much more information than what's publicly known. The propagandists are doing what they always do: Trump is weak, Iran is strong. The only certain outcome is that they will call it a failure when all is said and done.

So it's not an actual quote. I wouldn't be surprised if Israel actually believes that a deal is unlikely. I wouldn't even be surprised if they want to hit some energy infrastructure, or even if they do hit some. I would be surprised if they "informed" the US that something "must" happen. That sounds like someone taking liberties with the facts because it suits their purposes.

Thats Israel just stating common sense. No reason to start striking if we dont make it hurt. Turning the lights off should have always been done early on.
In truth it should have been the first thing we hit after the decapitation strike and hitting the air defenses.

And yet:

"The IDF is ready both defensively and offensively and the targets have been marked," Katz said in a video statement.
"We are awaiting a green light from the United States, first and foremost to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty...and additionally to return Iran to the Dark Age and the Stone Age by destroying key energy and electricity facilities and dismantling its national economic infrastructure," he added.
Been waiting for the green light for a few weeks...but they are totally calling the shots.

Tehran metro area has a population of over 15 million people. How many do you think would die if we "turned off the lights"? It would probably be equivalent to dropping a small nuclear bomb, maybe even a large bomb depending on how many could make their way to a safe haven. If you knocked out power to the entire country, 90 million people would be thrown into complete chaos and the death toll would be staggering. I believe and hope we have better alternatives.

lol what in the frick are you talking about a nuclear bomb would kill anything in a 3mi radius with a fireball, and people have been living with out power for thousands of years and it worked out.

To add, would make building back incredibly difficult. Would literally be starting over from square one

Looks like the bombing of the IRGC naval assets has begun again this morning.

To live they must eat. Feeding millions of people just in Tehran would soon be nearly impossible.
