Pakistan wants desperately to be important on the big stage.

It's too early to call the second round of negotiations a failure. No confirmation from either the U.S. or Iran that they won't participate. Communications are ongoing to extend the ceasefire.

They are smoking some of that good shite in Islamabad.

No extending a ceasefire that was a week too long to begin with.

If we keep prolonging this with nonsense ceasefires and the dog and pony show over negotiations this will be like the war between North and South Korea and result in a conflict that never official ends.

Under Zelensky, Ukraine is not a reliable ally, IMO.

Yep. That's exactly where this is going.

Dems will cut a good deal for the Mullahs when they get power and the GOP can sky-scream about it at that time, because the GOP is all-talk and no action.

Not a smart move. Those missiles have been tracked since they left whatever tunnel they were hiding in and then tracked back to their point of origin and will be struck with a quickness in a few hours.

Yup, they are a terrorist state doing what they've always done. Shouldn't be a surprise.

That is also objectively true.

However, I was commenting on the contradictory messages coming out of Washington regarding the latest proposed talks. The existence of contradictory messages is certainly true.

outright refusal to end nuclear enrichment

So now the only question is can arial bombardment and extreme economic pressure force them to give up and hand over the uranium.

If the hardline crazies dig in and refuse to budge, then the ground forces are going to have to go in and take it. And they can and they will, but seeing US troops be killed and maimed again in a ME ground war will be a massive albatross hung around Trump's neck and the party in general.

Just my opinion, but if Israel and the US send in ground troops, they're not going after Uranium.

Not going to happen. They’ll keep up an aerial bombardment and naval blockade. There’s no chance thousands of ground forces are deployed,
