just use stand off attack with A-10's, missiles etc to sink supply vessels, power supply and water supply. End of ship loading, lets the bad guys sit in the 125 degree heat 100 % humidity in 6-8 weeks. Nothing destroyed. No one killed. No ships loaded.

Why would anyone believe what those "analysts" say. If Iran was enriching uranium to 60%, they were building a bomb. Suggesting they were aiming for "threshold state", i.e., they wouldn't have completed the process if they hadn't been attacked, is political gamesmanship. The only way to stop them from acquiring nuclear weapons was and is destruction of their capability to do it.

We can all agree with Marco here. If Iran stops, the Strait opens tomorrow. The real issue, however, is whether we can make Iran stop. That is the question everyone wants to see answered.
