I don’t believe a IQ test can rate low enough for that guy. Something along the lines of a brain function test as in he has just enough brain function to let him know to breathe. That’s about it.

Trump needs the George HW Bush in the Red Sea to keep the Houthis in check. It should be leaving the east coast in a few days. Some of its support vessels are already headed there.

It’s hard to keep up. Yesterday we didn’t know who was in charge because everyone’s dead. Today we know who all the leaders are and their location.

The consistent contradicting statements is amusing

The U.S. just deployed robot speedboats to the Gulf and it's about time

The Pentagon confirmed for the first time that uncrewed drone boats are patrolling the Strait of Hormuz during Operation Epic Fury.

The GARC, a 5-meter autonomous speedboat, has logged 450+ hours and 2,200 nautical miles on patrol.

These vessels can run surveillance or be used as kamikazes against Iranian fast-attack boats.

Ukraine proved the concept by crippling Russia's Black Sea Fleet with explosive drone boats reportedly costing around $250,000 each.

For context, a single Iranian anti-ship cruise missile costs millions and a U.S. destroyer runs about $2 billion.

Iran has already used sea drones to hit oil tankers twice during this war.

The U.S. was late to the game but is finally playing it.

just use stand off attack with A-10's, missiles etc to sink supply vessels, power supply and water supply. End of ship loading, lets the bad guys sit in the 125 degree heat 100 % humidity in 6-8 weeks. Nothing destroyed. No one killed. No ships loaded. Is there a better scenario?

Completely agree.

Feels like Trump should have waited on this until after the midterms

The reports that were released stated that Iran was building rockets faster then the west was building interceptors. The longer that the US/Israel waited the more the ratio would be going negative in our favor

Waiting till after midterms was over would have been too late. The Middle East and Israel would have been seeing slit more getting through.

The Babylon Bee should do a story on Trump's inability to keep the enemy informed about what we know. If they do a good job, CNN might even run with it.

Isn’t that true. Trump is steady making shite up. The uncomfortable truth is that Trump miscalculated badly. He assumed he could subdue them before they could effectively take control of the straight.

I'm concerned that after our guys are all on board the Kharg Island, Iran will do something to sink it or tip it over or something.

I’m pretty sure Hank Johnson shares your concern.

How do you know what he assumed?

Every single day of this has been the same. Israel and us bomb the shite out of Iran. The only thing that has changed is less and less missiles and drones coming from Iran.

IRGC LARAK ISLAMD CONTROL SYSTEM: HOW IT OPERATES

1.Ships nearing the Strait are hailed over VHF by IRGC units positioned at Larak Island.

2. Vessels are required to provide full cargo details, ownership structure, destination, and crew list through IRGC-linked intermediaries.

3.The IRGC reviews each vessel based on nationality, ownership, cargo type, and crew. Energy shipments receive priority.

4.Cleared ships are charged up to $2 million per passage. Payments are made in Chinese yuan or cryptocurrency, sometimes routed through third-party maritime brokers.

5. Approved vessels receive authorization and are guided by IRGC escorts through a designated corridor inside Iranian-controlled waters.

6. Ships that do not comply are denied passage. One container vessel ‘the Selen’ was turned back after failing to meet the required protocols.
