This “15 Point Plan” looks like a huge pile of shite to me without a complete transformation of the current regime into something completely different.
Leave ANY part of it intact and you will be fighting the same war again as soon as they are strong enough to renew hostilities. The current regime in Iran will view defeat as a temporary evil that they just need to ride out until they can fight again.
Screw that. And no, I’m not turning over enriched uranium to a multinational organization either. That uranium belongs under the US’s control.
I hate wars just as much as anyone… but when you get into it, you FINISH it. No ceasefires, no diplomatic pipe dreams. End it with the IRGC and the theocracy they support dead and buried. Nothing less.

The talking point bots have a ready-made response to that clip: "But Trump said just last summer that he obliterated Iran's nuclear capacity. This is all about Israel." And I guess that works for credulous people who accept it at face value. They've never learned that, when it comes to wars, face value is worthless. The military buildup that started in early 2026 had been in the works for months, almost certainly since last summer. Every minor detail was meticulously planned and set in motion in stages.
The media ridiculed Trump's "obliterated" comment when he made it last July, called it stupid, "Mission accomplished", Trump is an idiot, TACO, etc. In reality, they were being used as dupes to help disguise the fact that the plan was just starting. Iran bought it too; Trump was an idiot or he lacked the gumption to finish the job. Israel even bombed for a few days longer to sell the idea that they weren't satisfied with Trump's short excursion. Six months later the real military buildup began and Iran realized the clock had been steadily ticking since last summer.

If the report of Iranian extremist demands is accurate - and the WSJ is a pretty good source - we shouldn't waste any more time talking about negotiations. We're going to have to blow up power plants and the South Pars natural gas field so that, at the very least, the regime will have to spend so much money rebuilding its infrastructure that it won't have much money to spend on making mischief outside its borders.
But it's clear now that the people giving orders in Iran are the same guys who sent 10-year old boys to clear out minefields with their bodies during the Iran-Iraq war. You can't argue or negotiate with people who live in the 13th century.

US Central Command in the wake of the downing has only offered minimal disclosure, merely confirming the jet was struck, was forced into an emergency landing and that the pilot remains in "stable" condition.
But now Air & Space Forces Magazine has some further details, reporting that the US Air Force pilot was wounded by shrapnel during the attack:
A U.S. Air Force F-35A pilot suffered shrapnel wounds after their aircraft was damaged during a combat mission over Iran on March 19, people familiar with the matter told Air & Space Forces Magazine.
The aircraft was hit by ground fire. Though U.S. Central Command has not provided details, the aircraft was most likely damaged by a surface-to-air missile rather than by small-arms fire or another projectile, given the altitude at which the F-35 typically flies. The incident is under investigation, according to U.S. military officials.
It's believed to have been a likely surface-to-air missile given the high-altitude profile of the F-35, making small arms basically an impossibility unless for some reason it was flying very close to the earth and at a slow speed.
Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had released footage days ago claiming to show the strike, stating: "The fate of the fighter jet is unclear and under investigation, and the likelihood of its crash is very high."
