Man made causes for the fires have been there since man has been there. But the grasslands in the plains have burned long before man showed up. Those grassland fires are actually the reason there are so few trees, You should read about how the early settlers had to deal with it. It’s fascinating.

Honestly more by default than anything.
His record over my Horns not withstanding, I have not been all that impressed with Kirby over the last couple of seasons. His in game decision making has had some serious flaws.
Sure, he is the best active coach in the SEC… Whatever that means for the conference.

CFB is what it is now. Learn to accept it, but as fans show outsized appreciation for those in your program that do play where they do for the love of the University.
At Texas Michael Taaffe was an amazing representation of what a dedicated and loyal student athlete can still accomplish.
