At the end of the season only one team will have reached the playoff simi-finals, today there is only one elite SEC team…

I want Ole Miss to win the Championship because their team, Alumni and supporters all got a raw deal.

It’s big business in the coaching world, sure. But this went down in the worst possible fashion. It’s on Kiffen, and the respective Athletic Departments, but not on the players and fans.

I genuinely hope they win.

But, I’ve bet on Miami to win it all at +410 because.. Good bet.

The poll-bowl setup was an absolute nightmare. After ‘71 when both the AP and UPI agreed to select their champions after all bowls you could be sitting there at number 4 or whatever and be thinking…

If Ohio loses, and Nebraska wins but by less than 3, and if PSU wins, but USCw Ties…

We are the champs! Maybe… If the UPI goes another direction, then we are co-champions!

Nothing will ever be perfect, but I’ll take this current shite over the above all day.

9-3 should be the floor, but with an extra SEC game in the mix, who knows. Alabama is in a weird spot going into next year. There are questions in the coaching staff that could really show themselves.

It will be interesting to watch as a dispassionate observer.
