It would, but it would also badly wound the US to lose carriers. It would make us vulnerable to other enemies.

It looks like Israel is going boots on the ground. I would imagine they have intel on these locations and will look to neutralize them.

I suspect the only boots on the ground will be Special Forces and the supply guy unloading pallets of weapons/ammo/medical supplies and MREs to the locals for them to do clean up duty.
