What gives you this impression? US/Israel are still conducting airstrikes and have repeatedly asked the Iranian people to stay home (Also same message from Reza Pahlavi)
Let's see what happens when the strikes die down and the people are given the chance to rise up.

You have to consider the source and the news outlet. CNN has been the only US based news outlet to operate by the Islamic Republic in Iran during the conflict. A couple of the regime's requirements for them to broadcast coverage is they must film on a 30 minute delay on any "live" footage and it has to be approved by the regime.
