I'm still hopeful the DOJ will be making arrests. Illegal immigration and election fraud are Trump's top issues. I just don't see him ignoring this for the next three years. Election fraud is one of the reasons 25% of the US Navy is parked off of the coast of Venezuela.

I think it's much more than that. The communists failed in Venezuela, The country was much better off before it was implemented. The people who voted it in are no longer able to shoot their way out, so here we are, which is better for us and them. Oil, crippled drug trade and a system that had previously brought the country more prosperity than it has ever known, one that is friendly to us.

Not necessarily. If Trump has just issued the statement about pardons, he knows the shite pedo Joe did is illegal. If the election was fraudulent, that means all executive orders and congressional work was confirmed illegally. Justice must be served equally for all. Nobody is above the law!

I certainly agree with you that other geopolitical considerations are motivating this pressure campaign on Maduro more so than the drug running. But “mUh wAR oN dRuGs!” is easier to sell to the American people.
