Obviously 47 has access to all the data but does he see impending economic catastrophe?

Other than not wanting to get us back into “forever wars” and other ideological issues he has with it…I have to wonder if his team is telling him each day we continue in this stalemate with Iran we are heading towards an economic calamity that will drag down the remainder of his term? I can’t see why else he seems so eager to strike a deal with someone who has zero Intrest in striking a deal.

Our economy when the water is high hides a lot of stumps. A lot of stumps. The water level is dropping. By the fall we will be crashing into the stumps.

Only if something changes soon. You think we won’t if we have a full summer of gas prices like we have now? Go back and study 2008. The housing crisis was the stumps. It had been there all along but needed something to make the water drop.

I think overall, Iran is a failure. But, I do think it makes Trump a stronger leader to gtfo, and get us home. Learn when it's not going anywhere, and cut bait.
We are really any better off today than when we started this bullshite. Unfortunately

Typically you start a war when the economy tanks so it’s more likely the opposite is true, if in fact, “the economy” is a factor in Trumps decision making as it relates to Iran.

That's what I don't know is how the timing of this works. I think people here figure once this stops, gas prices will immediately drop. But, some guys in alt media world have been saying the fuel and fertilizer issues are going to hit hard in the fall, even if everything stopped now.

You would lose that bet. May not happen soon, but it is inevitable.

Today I learned that someone believes that 08 housing was started, or identified, not with NINJA loans or mortgage backed trades, but with high gas prices.

You two should try economics not using the AOC scale.
All she has to show is big tits. Elevator doesn’t rise to the top.

Almost everyone in the west sees it.

I am good with some more panic? You can see here what tariffs and Iran bombing did

A dollar is worth less than 3 cents. Printing machine going brrrrr makes it worth less every day. The reset is coming.

Simply put, time is on his side and knows it.
These delays with Trump "negotiating" just mean the blockade stays in effect longer, and more and more oil tankers dock in the US. Trump knows every day he waits, the closer Iran gets to seeing their oil infrastructure implode on itself and potentially see the Iranian people rise up as the IRGC misses more and more payments to its troops.
Trump also gets to keep playing the "good" guy by not bombing Iran more and keeping waves of displaced Iranians from flooding the other Gulf States. People keep wanting to know why the other Arab nations won't let the US and Israel finish them off forget that once the bombing starts and Tehran is reduced to rubble and all the infrastructure is decimated, 60M Iranians are going to be looking for a new home.
He knows he can keep asking for the moon, and Iran will keep saying no. He is just playing out the string until Iran either gives in, gets overthrown internally or lashes out, and he can throw up his hands to the Gulf States leaders and say we tried and revert to bridge and power plant day.
The clock is ticking on Iran, and all their posturing doesn't change that.

Doesn't take big tits to see that you can't take water out of just one end of the pool. We were 10T in debt in 2010, we now are staring at 40T.

Most due to Democrat policies. Too stupid to realize where the filth comes from.

Wow, missed that quickly reading down through the post...

Not what I said. The fuel prices were like a match that set off a bomb. Is that analogy easier to understand?
