Market corrections are always inevitable. He said by the fall. I disagree. Now after the election? I'm gonna have some cash ready.

It was coming anyway, but the choices 47 made poured gasoline on the fire. So many structural issues in our economy. We are in for some serious pain.

the S&P is up 50 points today and sitting at an all time high i was a stock broker for 21 years the S&P sitting at record highs is typically considered an indicator of optimism for forward momentum in our economy.

of course optimism is impossible for panicans. it's simply not in your nature.

there's your answer boy run along you're dismissed.

Most due to Democrat policies. Too stupid to realize where the filth comes from.

The Republicans hold the White House, Congress, Senate, and conservatives are a majority on the Supreme Court.

Our debt is rising at a faster rate now than it was under Obama. Are Democrat policies in place now? If so, and those policies are to blame, why are those three branches doing little about it? From my viewpoint, they are making things worse, asking that another half trillion be printed for Defense.

I agree and you can bet Iran knows this too. The longer they wait the greater their leverage. Trump doesn’t want this still going on by midterms.

I think we’ll see another major military offensive and then he’ll drop it if it doesn’t yield a “deal”.

This situation is where Trumps ambition to get shite done will not serve him well unfortunately. Hopefully I’m wrong but you simply can’t trust muzzies to deal in good faith. I’ve had a handful of deals with them over the years and they have no problem lying outright to your face. They are the worst.

I am good with some more panic? You can see here what tariffs and Iran bombing did

Being able to buy the drops is good only until the bottom drops.

Question is, can you and I and most others weather that storm?

If Trump does see the impending economic catastrophe, he'll be a rarity, because none of our politicians and very few other people seem to recognize that we've been on a track to catastrophe for a long, long time. The signals that we're getting close have been flashing bright red since 2008 when the Fed began bailing out the banking system to prevent a debt meltdown.

This war in Iran is not just about nuclear weapons, it's about oil, currencies, trade, and China's aggressive plans. If the US was in a strong economic position, it might be safe to be as isolationist on these issues as some are suddenly demanding. But when these same neo-isolationists insist we can't use all means available to enforce immigration laws, can't use tariffs to increase our self-sufficiency (since Congress will not act), can't slash our federal bureaucracy down to the essentials, all the while insisting we ignore critical matters of geopolitics, like Iran and Venezuela, it becomes obvious that they are the ones who don't see, or understand, our impending economic catastrophe.

well said.... control of all branches as you point out, yet borrowing 50 billion a week, a new foreign war, inflation picking up, etc. comments trying to link current events to biden or the prior iran deal are... odd to say the least.

meanwhile the party moves further and further to the margin electing knee pad wearers.

BS.

There is not a voting majority anywhere. 51% doesn’t count with the morons in Congress. Senate is the worst at 60. Toss in idiots as judges that Democrats are screwing the public over idiotic decisions from the bench to halt any attempt to reverse the damage.

Too bad your not thinking beyond 6th grade math.

It may well be that the IRGC killed off most of the anti-Jihadists and what’s left have thrown in the revolutionary towel. Trump - like a lot of us - assumed at some point - they would rise up and overcome the Jihadis.

Regardless, had the Mullahs got their ballistic missile nukes we’d be in the same place with zero hope of controlling the Strait. And there is no doubt what the Jews would do.

“Economic catastrophe “ simply translates into CONTROL, just like with Covid and 2008, where extraordinary ‘Dictatorial’ measures are employed for the sake of critical infrastructure.

IMO, the control factor is what counts more so than the money which can be printed. With the inflation that comes with it. What cannot be controlled without serious repercussions is the ‘Mob’ reactions to Dem/MSM gas lighting. Given social media, the current “Teen Takeover “ wave of virtually unsolvable scenarios coupled with political ‘Muh Protests’ like ICE can mutate into a viral phenomenon in the space of days. Then we have a very real and uncontrollable “catastrophe “.

Trump’s circle will never speak it (though the Dems did) but they - just like many on this Forum -realize that the “never let a good crisis go to waste” narrative offers a rare opportunity to do what otherwise is impossible in a corrupt, Systemic way.

Storm on the horizon, but just another opportunity and worthy challenge for Humanity. It’s always live and learn the hard way. AI will factor in heavily.

Love will win out in the end. At least for them who choose it. Fair enough.

Leaders lead. If debt is an impending disaster, and it is, then it's up to Trump to talk about it, raise it as an impending disaster in the same way he raised illegal immigration as an impending disaster, and move people in his direction. Instead he makes it worse. 40T debt is your math, ignore away.

Well 98.7% of our economy does not depend on the strait being open and oil flowing like Iran or to a lesser extent Chyna

So yes, we're perfectly fine playing a game of economic chicken with the ragheads.
