Sadly, it did. For too long Republicans have been held by the balls by the NRA and refused to enact common-sense laws that we know could have prevented Parkland.

Sad!

Why is the firearm homicide rate not correlated at all to the firearm ownership rate? As you say more firearms = more firearm deaths.

Make up your fricking backwards minds, you ignorant shits.

So does that mean you think the cops acted properly of their handling of Cruze over the years or not? Do you think if the cops had followed laws on the books then he would or would not have been able to purchase and own guns?

Those laws were already in place. And the FBI and local police department failed to enforce them.

So your suggestion is more laws, more government, and reducing individual rights.

Just be patient. She'll either answer or start "ignoring" you completely. The positive is that she never posts anything useful anyway.

The US firearm death rate would lower to be in line (or better) than comparable countries.
so you want us to achieve similar gun death rates to countries that basically ban guns?

And you say that you assigned some value to gun ownership?

BamaATL wants a gun ban, just won't admit it.

No the problem is the bills introduced were not "common sense".

Do you know the organization that got the implementation of the NICS system passed?

Tell me how much money has the big bad NRA donated to Politians?

You damn well know that there is no comparison between those two situations so you even typing that paragraph shows you're a dishonest piece of shite

Yep. She's trying to simultaneously argue that she doesn't want to gun ban but that she wants us to achieve gun death rates on par with places that have gun bans

So that’s what prevented the SO from arresting a kid in 39-ish violent contacts with law enforcement. The NRA!!

This is just devolved to stupidity.

And admits there is no functional difference between guns she (admits to) wanting to ban vs just about every other “sporting” rifle in the country.

Banning a model is like saying “we should ban Ford Mustangs” after a drunk kills someone in one.

The attempt to hide the agenda is all one needs to know here.

And this is why they end up frustrated when they talk to gun supporters

I'm sorry we're just not going to listen to you when you so obviously are pretending not to want what you really want

That's why she doesn't want to define success for me because that would set a floor that if achieved she couldn't come after more guns

And yet guns kill remarkably more people
not relevant. and you have no idea what would happen if a particular gun were banned. maybe knife attacks go up.
