It's amazing the Governor of NY would flat out admit the lawfare being levied against Trump is purely political and other NY businesses need to understand we're not after you.

How can this^^^ shite stand if other real estate companies and businesses in NY are not subject to the same scrutiny and prosecution?

How can it stand? Because it's Trump and Governor Hochul wants everyone to fricking relax.

Governor Hochul assures other NY businesses we're only after Trump.

That really seems unconstitutional.

They're just further fueling his appeal. Good job coming out and admitting the law was passed specifically to target one individual.

Word on the street is that almost all of the decision makers for these big real estate companies are looking at alternatives to protect their companies and their investors

$Trillions$

But don't mind me...

Sounds like the kinds of problems that Trudeau caused up in Canada by making it clear they would subvert the banking systems to quash the trucker protests.

The fallout from that apparently caused massive outflow from Canadian banks by Hong Kong depositors who thought they no longer had security there.

The fact that this is the second or third time I have heard them tell their businesses not to worry tells me there is very real concerns of some players pulling out of NY

Weaponizing the justice system is perhaps the most destructive and tyrannical thing a government can do - but Lawfare is a double-edged weapon that cuts in both directions. Lawfare can be applied to NY as well.

No federal funding until they make amends for this targeting of Trump. Prosecute NY officials for conspiracy to violate rights.

There has to be accountability for weaponizing the government against political opponents.

This should help Trump with his 14th Amendment Due Process claim. The Government can't pick and choose who they are going to sic the law on. Here the Governor is admitting that is exactly what they are doing.

The governor saying this publicly combined with both the judge and the state AG campaigning on going after him should be an open and shut case.

But I figure no court will want to take the case and claim “no standing”.

You only have to worry if big brother disagrees with you.

Who going to invest in a political climate like that.

NY is banking on the fact that NYC is an international business hub and the belief it will continue to be so.

shite like this combined with advances in telecommuting means that a physical presence in a large market doesn’t mean as much as it used to.

Around the world the rule of law and personal property rights are the main determinants of whether a country is successful or not.

How very Lenin-esque of her.

She proves they aren’t investigating a crime; they’re investigating a man.

Suppose Trump win reelection. Does his DOJ crackdown on these people?

we're only after TRUMP

Well, that should pretty much seal the appeal and open the door for a lawsuit for damages from Trump...
