That’s a bunch of “files”. Imagine the amount of people needed to generate those fifteen or twenty or fifty million files? Now you know how our country went to hell. Too many people making files.

There is probably very little in the universe you can "explain" to me, but go ahead

I think we were told that they had released everything they could legally release. And I think that once congress ordered all of it to be released, it became legal to release more
I’m still of the opinion had it been released initially it would’ve been labeled by the media and democrats as what the Russia hoax really was. Once it was demanded and everyone wanted to find out what was being “covered up” the public’s eyes were opened as was their willingness to really pay attention.

It accomplished the purpose of getting people to push for the truth. Trump always says and does things to shine a spotlight on who/what he wants exposed. Remember him putting Fauci in charge? Not many had ever heard of him but his past was brought to light.
You act like he’s not the head of the DOJ.
He wants to “shine light on the truth”?
Ok…to what end? Who’s going to stop the corruption? If only there was someone who would “drain the swamp” and “put them in jail”

Well it is, in fact, a lot of "nothing." That doesn't mean there isn't worthwhile stuff to investigate in it, but the majority of it will be mundane by nature, as expected. I'm not combatting that this was a good idea, I'm rejecting this back and forth narrative of "it's a hoax - it's a grand conspiracy!"
The reality was always that there would be materials there to reinforce what we already know and perhaps implicate new people, but likely without enough to make cases.
I have 100% supported release of Epstein materials, and have written novels on here about why it isn't easy for any administration to do.
OP, as for the gross email on the first page, do you have a link to the DOJ materials?
NM - Found it. Surprised that's real, and why it's redacted is a very good question. I'm assuming emails from 2014 are authentic if they're in the datasets.

I think people wanted a list of things that Epstein used to blackmail powerful people, but if you know Epstein history that doesn’t make sense. I think it was more about maintaining access.

There are emails where he discusses what he could use to blackmail Bill Gates
There are thousands of emails to and from billionaires who are named, celebrities, who are named, CEOs, businessmen, politicians, who are named
Audio recordings you can listen to
Videos and redacted images of young girls sent to named people used as bait to get them to the island
The files contain some sick verified stuff, yet there is no “evidence” and the “files” didn’t exist?

At this point in the release of Me Too information, no one had taken even a scratch, and Harvey Weinstein was still a Hollywood icon. Within about 18 months, 200 icons were like Keyzer Soze - 'poof, gone'

I think this is the most likely scenario. What we are seeing is a carefully curated mountain of smoke with no real fire. Just enough to overwhelm, confuse, and trigger a million wild goose chases that never amount to anything.
The Epstein release is playing out just like the wiki definition of "limited hangout" states:
quote:
According to Victor Marchetti, a former special assistant to the deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a limited hangout is "spy jargon for a favorite and frequently used gimmick of the clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further".[1][2] While used by the CIA and other intelligence organizations, the tactic has become popularized in the corporate and political spheres.[3]

I’m genuinely impressed. You are really stretching out.
Yet don’t strain your brain too much or you might trigger a system overload. Your cranium isn’t used to operating beyond it’s factory set power-saving mode.

What is the date of the email? Was it before or after Trump banned him from all of his properties? Was it before or after he visited with the Obama administration?

Yeah, but he's still employed by the firm. Just not as Chairman.

Depends on what you mean by that. The link suggests that no one is accusing the guy of actually doing anything but being friendly toward Epstein, nor is there any evidence that he did.
If people want to self-destruct and implode just because their name was found in the files, I guess that's their business. That doesn't mean there's anything that's actually incriminating in the files.
It just means that society is at a point at which no incriminating evidence is required for people to melt. Which isn't surprising, really, with everyone's addiction to conspiracy porn.

I bet you were one of the ones who salivated over the Ashley Madison leak.
