North Carolina, a system that went from $1.4 million or so in total billings for autism therapy to more than $660 million a year in billings on autism therapy within a five-year range
For you earners out there like me, how long will you let the government take 50% of your earnings?

And not a single paper-pushing "civil service" bureaucrat thought "that's really weird, maybe we should dig into that?"

It boils down to the use of a single standardized test that qualifies ALL Students for Autism- The CARS-2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale, 2nd Ed.)
fricking toilet paper. Should be banned in Texas.

It's become a gold mine.

Either the jab gave everyone autism or there was an influx of Somolian Pirates migrating to the area.

The gov’t has no incentive to be good or efficient at anything it does. It’s the inherent problem with the system: no profit motive.

As someone who implements the back-end of these systems: people notice. But we can only implement what the state requires.
The argument is always “but we can't deny services” and we often wonder “services to whom”

As long as they want to.
Just like you will.

Take a look at pediatric daycare. Not only is it out of control, but it also adds the element of parents putting children into daycare instead of sending them to school because the hours are better.

Exactly, more problems, people demand more government, more government means more in place bureaucrats get promoted to manage their fiefdom and work to expand it.

660 million in north Carolina.
Just one state.
Up from 1.4 million 5 years ago.
I have no idea why rates of autism is so high.

When both sides are robbing us blind, there is no incentive to investigate.

Is North Carolina blue?
It has a dem governor and of course Tillis, who may as well be, in the senate, so it is at least suspect.

Everything is a big scam when there is tax payer money to hand out.
Every single thing.
Every single thing.

I've got a cheap cure, recess in the morning and after lunch, and a ruler to the knuckles if they're not paying attention.

This is interesting do you know when and why that happened? I have some experience with educational coding and reimbursement so this is a great insight as to how we got here if you can go in more detail.

The testing isn't the problem. People thinking it's the government's problem to fund is what's wrong. Sucks that you have an autistic child but quit expecting the taxpayer to subsist them.
