I thought it was bc Nikki called out Vivek for something about his heritage and he in turn called her out… don’t remember the origins

So swing and miss on your part. Nobody is making fun of Nikki for her heritage. It’s her hypocrisy

Meh. Most Indians I know that are first generation born in America have an Americanized nickname given by their parents which helps them assimilate into American culture. I know a Harry, a Nick, a Calvin etc.

As much of a globalist RINO scumbag that Nikki is, her having an Americanized nickname is not part of her negative attributes IMO. I understand how people don’t trust it though because of her otherwise duplicitous political nature.

Vivek didn't adopt a nick name, so when you way Vivek Ramaswamy 99% of people know exactly who you're talking about

When you say Nimrata most people have no clue who you're talking about

Kind of like "Beto" ORorke

It’s actually a Punjabi name. This was her name given to her at birth. It means “little one”.

Nikki is a given name. It is commonly a nickname for Nicholas and its variants Nikolina, Nicole, Nicola; and Nikita, and Veronica. It is also a Punjabi name (Gurmukhi: ?????; Shahmukhi: ???) meaning “little one”, with its male counterpart being Nikku (Gurmukhi: ?????; Shahmukhi: ???).

I think Trump will be just fine without your 40-something delegates and all those Dems who voted for you in open primaries.

CNN Exit Poll: 85% of Haley Voters Approve of Biden on Super Tuesday

Thank you CNN for providing the proper percentage we needed to calculate her real votes.

ETA 15% of 18% is 2.57%

Someone needs redo all of last night's results using CNN's math.

Haley’s middle name is Nikki though, so that’s not the same.

The democrats who voted for Haley aren't going to vote Trump and wouldn't have voted for Haley in the general. The small amount of conservatives that voted for Haley will not vote for Biden. Trump doesn't have to do a damned thing with Haley if he doesn't want to.

Trump knows he has to court her. Like it or not, he can’t achieve the narrow margin of victory needed in this race without some of her voters (independents, too).

Usually, I wouldn’t disagree in principle but unless Trump is after the votes of DC residents or the Ben & Jerry crowd in Vermont, I’m not so sure Nikki carried any substantial base of note.

Nikki didn’t even carry her home state against Trump. I’ve heard there are Nikki supporters out there but they’ve been somewhat like unicorns and hard to find.

That gets you close. To get over the edge you have to win enough of the independent voters. MAGA is not going to get Trump there. In 2016 it did, because his negatives had not climbed off the charts, but it won't do it now.

They don't want to hear this.

That’s why Vivek is key as VP. He will bring along those voters.

If he changed his name to Vince Ramsey you'd have a point.

That's a foolish position. There are people who voted for Haley who are on the fence as to what to do in the general. Go get them and win!

I honestly don't think there are a thousand people in America that voted for Haley, that would even consider voting for Trump. She has zero appeal to ANYONE, other than technically she's a Republican; she's simply the "NOT HIM" option. And that vote will go to Biden anyway.

See things for what they are. Trump has a better chance of getting traditional Dems who just don't want any more Biden, than getting a supposed Repub who would vote Haley instead of him.
